Passing the exam 1 by pankajdubey The querent asked: Will I pass the exam to be held in Oct 2007? 26 May 2007 2.34 PM AEST BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA 145 E 07 27 S 27 Should you give hope or tell the truth or fudge it? There is a reception without aspect... To me mutual reception is good enough. Thanks PD Last edited by pankajdubey on Sun Oct 21, 2007 4:01 am, edited 1 time in total. Quote Sat Oct 20, 2007 10:02 am
2 by Deb Good question People have to think very seriously about what they ask and what good it can do them to ask. And we have to think very seriously about what we are prepared to answer and what good that might do. That should stop a lot of ?no good could come from this? type of questions arising. Also, it is important to check the ?considerations before judgement? to see whether you are likely to do more damage than good by answering. If an answer IS given it has to be honestly based on what is found in the chart. No fudging, no falsifying. Often, it is possible to find something that will be useful in the long term, or the chart might show a reason why the querent disadvantaged. But if there is a danger of making the situation worse (by undermining the querent?s confidence or creating a negative mindset), and nothing positive to be made of the information in the chart, then find a way to get out of judging it. It is better to fabricate an excuse as to why you can?t judge the chart, than to fabricate anything about what it is saying. Quote Sat Oct 20, 2007 10:28 am

The querent had to appear in the exam anyway or else would have forfeited the chance- it was time bound. Deb wrote: If an answer IS given it has to be honestly based on what is found in the chart. I totally agree, by "fudge" I meant more of neither here nor there kind of astrological jumble or against it something like "I am really sorry! this is not a winner" kind of answer or Lastly, something like the traditional rules say - No. But, I beg to differ and you will pass PD Quote Sat Oct 20, 2007 1:03 pm

Tara Hi Tara, This was a professional qualification examination, the ascendant lord was in the 10th, so I was quite happy to use the 10th. The problem was that there was mutual reception but no aspect- this did not seem to hinder in this case. Pankaj Quote Sun Nov 04, 2007 7:27 am
7 by Tara Thanks, Pankaj, It is my understanding that full-on mutual reception such as this does not require an aspect to perfect, and so it has transpired in this case. Tara Quote Sun Nov 04, 2007 4:54 pm
Mutual reception without aspect 8 by voyagergirl A couple years ago, I predicted that a friend would win a lawsuit based solely on the mutual reception between her significator and that of her 7th house: there was no aspect between the significators in mutual reception in that case either. But the aswer was still "yes." Quote Fri Nov 16, 2007 5:19 am
