I have gone for Liverpool (odds 3,45:1) this evening because the PoS(n) is in an exact square to Uranus. This I think is a contrary for the favourites, Chelsea. I also went for Panionios (1,55:1) in their match against Bordeaux because PoS(n) is in an exact conjunction with the Sun. I have linked this up in a multiple bet with 3 other matches. Total odds 10,6:1...

There was no Moon aspect within 5 degs but Spurs could carry it off because its antiscion was on MC.

Also antiscion Venus (L4) conj Desc in both charts - angular side for Spurs, cadent side for Arsenal. Not enough for Arsenal to win in 90 mins, but I guess Moon's dispositor retro indicated the draw.

Well done for spotting Saturn S/R. I really must remember to look in the ephemeris more often. Perhaps it won't affect Liverpool either, but that Moon on MC does rather stand out for Chelsea, although it's VOC so hopefully will be of no benefit to them. Wishful thinking....

Terrific - this is the same reasoning as was proven in a game played in Egypt yesterday ('Why not?') I got it wrong but the details were the Part of Fortune 2VI43 disposed by Mercury, who was combust by the Sun. The Sun is lord of the 4th!!

Maybe, but I still don't totally trust antiscia because they don't always work, even in football matches. I shall continue to look at them though.

Quite likely, with Moon VOC and dispositor retro it could be a draw at the end of normal time. Moon goes into Taurus at the end of 90 mins (roughly) then trines Jupiter which at that point is L7 I expect I'm being too optimistic.

PoS(n) square Saturn though signs of long ascension. This should give the favourite the upper hand.

PoS(n) square Uranus. This is the match that in my opinion could be difficult to subject to suprizes. The square to Uranus spells disadvantage to the favourite.

In example of a multiple combination, with home wins in the four other matches (the testimonies for the underdogs seeming poor) it doesn't really matter how you place your money in the match Chelsea- Liverpool. You would still make money. If Chelsea win it is 7,1:1 If a draw you collect 10,9:1 If Liverpool come out tops the total odds are 11,7:1
Of course, something could go wrong in any of the other matches. We will see.

That's very interesting, Jupiter turning into L7 but then the Moon applies to anti-L1, which is within orb. It's difficult to imagine Chelsea winning without Drogba and J Terry but I heard S Gerrard had stomach upsets today...

Re stationary planets, Saturn is basically a slow, ponderous planet; so being stationary may not affect players' performances much.

I've found Lords 4 and 10 more unreliable than antiscia so I tend to neglect them.

Out of Andrew's non-UK selections above I only looked at the Bayern match and I agree it looks good for Bayern.

Unfortunately, Bayern winning does only give 1,22:1 return on the odds. It has to be played in combination with something else.

It would be much more interesting if we could that predict Bayern lost to Aris at 17:1 !!! I notice that the PoS(n) casts its sextile to Neptune on the 7th and that PoS(n) antiscia is trine Saturn, ruler of 7th, but that should not be to any effect or disrupt the favourites - because the PoF or PoS(n) reflects, in my experience, the state of the favourites.

I'm not sure I understand the UFEA Cup tables, because I don't think the odds reflect the standings. The thumb-rule says that the VOC Moon sends the Public astray - but then we have also learnt that the Moon will still perform when it applies by conjunction or aspect to another planet in the very beginning of the next sign.

Watch-out, the conjunction between Sun, Jupiter and Pluto around the winter soltice/ Capricorn ingress is magical. Serapis; One Jove, one Pluto and one Sun.
