Hello. This is my first post to the forum and I would appreciate some perspective on this chart. A few days ago I realized I couldn?t find a small dark teal green antique leather case which held jewelry that is quite important to me. I thought I?d left it a cupboard in the bathroom. I?ve searched ( read; ransacked) the house, and am feeling very upset and unsettled because it may have been gone for some time. I?m thinking dark thoughts re whether it was taken , and gone for good, although I have trouble believing this.

My natal Venus/Jupiter is at 0-1 cancer, my retrograde mars is at 8 degrees Capricorn, , and my Ic is at 14 degrees Capricorn, conjunct the horary moon.
It seems that the moon represents myself, the jewelry, and lost items in general. ( that?s not funny). I?m puzzled why the moon is in the 7th house, although disposed by Saturn in Virgo ( all worried that I somehow should have been more careful about these old items, ) makes sense. I read that the moon?s last aspect shows how the item was lost, and , separating from Saturn, I certainly did forget about these things , having not used them in a year. The moon, angular, cardinal and ruler of the 1st and 2nd, seems according to Deb?s article on lost items, to be positive, yet the aspects seem to all be separating, with the exception of Uranus( does that even count?)
Venus , in joy in the 5th, is also in detriment. To me this seems like mixed messages. Might anyone have some thoughts? Thank you !

Could you post the Horary question you asked of the Universe along with the exact time and place please? There is not enough data to draw up a Horary chart to help you here.

There are 2 sign for recovery, Moon in angular house, and ruler of 2nd, Moon in asepct with POF!
Can on the cusp of 2nd mean near water or food. Check out bathroom or kitchen.
Ruler in 7th housemean:
Partner may have seen it or put it somewhere. Bedroom, living room, formal dining room. Usually in plain sight. Also in room where the partner spends the most time. Ruler of Moon is on cusp of 4th house, so check out in the father's home. Moon will sextile Ur in 10th house, house of mother, so, mother may help you to find it !
Moon in Cap means that you have to check out in dark corners near the ground, low places, "depressed" places. But, if you check out in partners room look at business areas.

DIRECTION: West, but when you come there look at south side of that room. Look near colour :black, gray, brown

POF is in 2nd house mean that you have to look where money or precious things are kept; in some safety deposit box. The bedroom, buudoir, furnishings, where valuables are kept.

Direction: north by east near colour:white, silver, blue-green

I have used Solar Fire V 6 to draw up the Horary Chart - Asc 4/45 Cancer with Moon - your significator in 7th. The POF is @ 10/14 Gemini in 12th.

What bothers me is Mars retro so close to the Asc and opposing the 7th house Moon - you say the jewelry may have been 'taken' - so this could mean it was actually stolen from you. A 7th house Moon can indicate a 'change of ownership' - from Olivia Barclay, P 26

I'm looking at Saturn so close to the 4th cusp, has there been an older male visiting your home you can recall? He could be a family member who you can contact who may have simply 'moved' the lost object to a safer place? It might still be in your home.

The Moon is 'slow' but makes no significant aspects in the chart unless we can count the partile sextile to Uranus on M/H - Uranus was invisible to the Ancients so I pull him in lastly as he may help you. Uranus can represent an older male - a grandparent.

I hope the jewelry turns up in some unexpected place.

Thanks Goca and Julie K for your responses . I am continuing to go through the house, every cupboard no matter how remote the possibility is of the jewelry box being there. I have particularly checked ? near water? as the box was in a cupboard in the bathroom. I have asked my ex ( slightly older, and lots of Capricorn in his chart, and trustworthy in these matters) if he has seen it. I have checked around the floor, near old books and photographs and things that belonged to my mother and father. I?m referring to Deb?s article on sky script for finding lost items in my comments below:
If the sign on the 4th house cusp describes the locality of the lost item, what would it mean if the ruler of that sign is combust? ( seems like combust is not good, weakened state)
How would the separating aspects of the Moon to Saturn, Venus and Mars be viewed? ( I?m hoping not as badly as if the Moon were applying). If these separating aspects count then it looks even more dire. Could you time when the items disappeared by this?
If the jewelry and I are both signified by the Moon, and ? we? both are in the 7th house, does this mean that the jewelry and I share some important feature? There is not a partner involved.
Does horary ever suggest who is implicated by showing similarities with a natal chart?

Since my question is ? where is the jewelry?, and the 4th house indicates ?the locality, and the quality of the ground it lies on?, is it significant that Jupiter is in a late degree and will go into Capricorn? ( Mercury rules the 4th, is in Sagittarius , uh-oh? is the jewelry traveling away?)
Could it be considered helpful that Venus ,as naturally signifying jewelry, is applying to the 4th cusp and Saturn?
As you can see, I?m in a muddle of factors, and really upset that these things which have been in my family for so many years could just disappear. Thanks for your help and thoughts.

You are obvioulsy extremely concerned about the missing pieces of jewelry. I'd suggest 'letting go' of it no matter how hard this could be for you. Often the lost item turns up when you apply this theory.

Mars retro in 1st, will the jewelry be found once Mars goes Direct? Mars is the robber while Mercury is the thief - this is the difference. If a family member or a person well known to you is connected then the 'counscious' may cut in and guilt may return your items to the rightful owner. If your jewelry has been stolen then the robber will not benefit or enjoy any part of the 'profits'.

My brothers wife lost a special gold chain 2 years ago while eating out - the Moon was in the 7th house and it has never been 'found'.

I still haven?t learned this stuff, but that won?t stop me from talking about it! Hopefully I will write something that will click with you. I?m going to babble on here without paying much attention to what you have written, so I may repeat you.

It seems like there has got to be importance in Mars conjunct Asc., (querent) sextile Saturn conjunct IC (location of object), sextile Venus (natural significator of jewelry) . Especially Saturn right on the IC and the object?s location mid-way between you and Venus (jewelry). Mercury last separated square Saturn and will is now closely combust. Mercury rules the 4th and is now in the 6th. The 6th signifies people we pay for services like housekeepers. Saturn can represent plumbers. Did you recently have a plumber in the bathroom who could have taken it? The Moon also last aspected Saturn.

Saturn can also represent an old person and Mercury in the first might point to siblings and relatives of the father.

That combust Mercury in detriment as ruler of the location doesn?t look good. It looks as if something is wrong with the location itself, almost as if the location has been altered, damaged or destroyed. Virgo on the IC would indicate storage areas, like the bathroom cupboard. Was the cupboard at one point cleaned or repaired and the leather case thrown out? That?s especially possible if it was in an old cardboard box, etc.

It just seems like there?s a link between you (ASC-Mars) and the location (Saturn on IC) and Venus (Jewelry). Since the Moon signifies both you and the object maybe Venus gains in importance for signification. She?s in the 5th ? child/ren? Venus is indetriment and peregrine, unfortunately. But she has almost perfected a trine with Mars. I take it that Mars would act as co-significator for you, so maybe the jewelry will return to you, but in a damaged or altered state?

Thanks for your response Kirk. I agree, it seems those sextiles have to mean something, and I?ve been reading up on this with your comments in mind. As for talking about what you don?t know, well, Im sure I know much less, but this experience has pushed me to take my interest in horary more seriously , and catapult my reclusive self into an international forum to ask for help. I?m hoping to learn from the chart and the forum, and especially to find meaning through the learning .
There was a plumber here on Dec 7, although I have felt he is very trustworthy. My first suspicious thought re someone taking the box was that I had the upstairs carpet replaced about a year ago, a husband and wife were the day laborers, working close to the floor! I dismissed this thought , because I felt they would have had a bit of trouble getting to the box as the bathroom was stuffed with furniture during the replacement, and I was swayed by my son?s opinion that they weren?t that type.
I have remained puzzled as to why the jewelry and I are both signified by the Moon in the 7th, and I was thinking to myself ? why are my jewelry and I in someone else?s house ?? Then it dawned on me ? The house I bought and have lived in for about a year was owned by and lived in by my current neighbors. They are clearly attached to it, and I?ve had the distinct feeling of ? living in someone else?s house?. I mentioned in my first post that the horary Moon was conjunct my natal IC. To me, this seems to describe that I moved my belongings, and a lot of family history, to what has essentially felt ( still) like someone else?s house. I also found that Capricorn, according to sky script, is connected to ? places where sails for ships are stored ?. the previous owners are avid sailors and have several boats, and I think they stored most of that stuff in the garage, which is the last frontier for me to explore.
I also noted that Mars, ruling the 11th, rules ? the mother?s money? , which accurately represents some of the contents in the box, and that a john gad bury article explained a retrograde planet as indicating a lost item behind or in back of something,
In re the sextiles, I?m feeling as if I did something that caused this disappearance, because it seems there are so many connections and shared significators for myself and the box. ( blue green, by the way which sounds like a Sagitarian color).
