Tottenham were favourites against Arsenal at Unibet
Odds: 2.29 3.20 2.87
-------------------------
Everton-Chelsea 0-1! :P :'

In yesterdays interesting match between Tunisia - Senegal that ended 2-2, the only testimony I could spot in terms of a draw was the Moon * the IC through signs of long ascension. Senegal were favourites. Tunisia got an early goal. Senegal turned the match to their favour before Tunisa equalized towards the end.

Hi Andrew,
there`s a Handball Championship in Norway and you said nothing about.
What do you think where is the reason for Slovenian win over Norwegian team. Slovenes were underdog. Maybe Saturn on Asc?
Data: 23 Jan 2008 20:15 -1 Stavanger, Norway Asc 9?Virgo

Thank you for the knowledge you share with us.
Best wishes

Horarcek :D :'
I didn't think anyone was interested in handball, particularly in a football section :lala

Norway Men have no history as a strong handball team, so I don't know much about it. Norway have a very strong women's team and can always be reckoned on.

Slovenia-Norway 33-29
Dy+Hr Me, Virgo Asc. Norway are favourites, take the asc and should have got it. POF/POS square Mars through signs of short ascension says same. Yesterday they were not good enough. Moon opposition Mercury must be the explanation. Well done Slovenia.

Is this Saturday a time to test out the Void of Course Moon theories!

I think there are four games at different times.

Mansfield v Middlesbrough. 12.30 GMT
Cameroon v Zambia. 17.00 GMT
Wigan v Chelsea. 17.15 GMT
Egypt v Sudan. 19.30 GMT.

It would appear all matches have VoC moons!

Do I also understand that there is no relationship between the planetary hour and the ascendant for any of the games?

I'll check out the planetary hours. I had difficulty with games the last two days because many games were starting on the cusp of hours, together with lots of other mixed testimonies. Urgh! Make a point of not over-stretching when testimonies are mixed. Better to wait until more optimal conditions.

I previously said I was monitoring a particular relationship between the lord or the hour and the lord of the radical ascendant for draws. This occurs when there is no relationship between the planetary hour and the ascendant, or its lord, through blending of natural powers. But the lord of the hour and lord of the ascendant are in separate signs of the same triplicity.

Although Ficinia may throw me a Yellow Card, this condition occured in this evenings handball match between Croatia and Norway. The game started on the Day of Jupiter and in the Hour of Mars. Virgo is on the ascendant. There is no blending og natural powers here. However, Mars and L1, Mercury, are in the same triplicty as Mars is 24GE and Mercury is 22AQ. Draws are a rare in handball. The game ended 23-23!

I was suprized to see this evenings game between Nigeria and Mali end in a 0-0 draw. I thought that the balance was in advantage of the favourites, Nigeria. One indication of a draw would be Mars, L4, sitting on the angle. This is not the case on this chart - but Mercury, the dispositor of Mars, is 1'02 from the descendant. Looking at the chart I observe that Mars, L4, is 0'10 orb of his sextile to the ascendant. I assumed that a hard aspect was required but that is not the case here. This match definately ended a draw and I include the observations for further reference..

Anyone have any confidence regarding todays games with Moon VOC? I'm uncertain as to games that look easy on paper.

Mansfield-Middlesborough, 12.30 GMT
The day of Saturn, hour of the Moon and a Gemini Asc. The moment is not radical 'by hour' and 'could' move the result away from the favourites. But that seems a long shot, even if Mansfield are playing at home. The lord of the day rules the ascendant by triplicity. I give Middlesborough the ascendant. Mercury is L1 and in the 10th in mr with Saturn, L10. The Sun is L4 and conjunct POF. I give precedence to the Sun's allignment with POF and do not give emphasis to it's house rulership. I'm going with 'Borough'! :' If this match had started 15min later, then L4 would have been sitting on the MC - and I would have gone for a draw.

Wigan-Chelsea, 17.15 GMT
The day of Saturn, hour of Mercury and a Leo ascendant. The moment is radical since Mercury and the Sun are in the same sign. POF/POS is square Venus through signs of short ascension. Moon is VOC, and Saturn, who is L7, casts his antiscia to the Midheaven. It would be tempting to move Chelsea to the asc and give Wigan the advantage of the des., but in my jugdement, seeing that the chart is radical, POF/POS receiving a beneficial aspect, and Chelsea approaching from away - I see no reason to challenge the favourite.

I'm not giving the VOC Moon too much emphasis and observe that she is in reception with Mercury, who is in her face. I will probably get punished for it - but I'm here for the learning and am giving it a try. :brows

Due to the FA Cup there are a lot of odd-ball games! Look at Liverpool facing Havant & W. Unibet offer 65:1 if Havant & W. win the game. The price is VOC enough - you don't see odds like that very often! 8)

It's very difficult to predict FA cup games at this stage in the competition. There are always some surprise results because "that's what the FA cup is all about", but which ones those will be is anyone's guess with every game, including the many 3pm matches, kicking off with a VOC Moon! Having said that, I'll just make a few observations anyway.

Mansfield/Middlesbro
I would give Mansfield the Asc based on colours. There are two weak testimonies for Middlesbro. Although Sun (L4) is technically separating from PoF, it's within the same degree. Antiscion Jupiter (L7) is in 7th but over 4 degs from Desc. If the VOC Moon comes into play, then it could be a draw but it seems unlikely.

Wigan/Chelsea
Again the away team are odds-on faves, but going by colours Chelsea would get the Asc. Like Andrew, I noted antiscion Saturn (L7) conj MC (cadent). JF would say this indicates that Desc team controls Asc team, but Wigan in control of Chelsea? They may well play very defensively in an attempt to block Chelsea out. It will be interesting to see if they do this - the game is on TV. Again with VOC Moon, the best they could hope for would be a draw.

Will these two games produce the surprises? I'm sitting on the fence :P
