There are no aspects between Sun, Moon and Venus so initial impressions are doubtful. The Sun is in detriment in Aquarius, and further weakened by being in the sixth house. Having the South Node and a retrograde Saturn in the first house can't be helping him either. I guess this all reflects his current unfortunate circumstances in not having a job. His rivals for the job are shown by Lord 7, Saturn. A recent, (three degrees) separating trine aspect between Venus and Saturn suggests that the job may already have been offered to one of the other applicants for the job.
