We know that the architecture in the 18th and 19th century mimic ancient architecture from ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, but do you think they not only styled new buildings like those in Egypt, Greece and Rome, but also used the myths, astrology and myths of Egypt, Greece and Rome in construction as well.

I would like to know your views on this before we progress.

Looking at posts, the most important one at the moment is "The Independence day in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1776, Lat 39*N59', Long. 75*W08'.

Was this a conscious action in Philadelphia in 1776?
This matters greatly to how we value 4th July 1776 in Philadelphia.

Heliacal rising stars matter greatly to some religious beliefs, so as Alnilam is the heliacal rising star for Philadelphia on 4th July 1776 exactly by paran, (As portrayed by Starlight, Bernadette Brady), does this give us a clue to significance?

Yes it does, even if astrology rules apply to Philadelphia by paran which tells us that after 4th July 1776, for a period of approx. two weeks that Alnilam remains the heliacal rising star.

Parans are the rule of law that astronomers use, although on this date the astrologers projected measurement has to be valued as well, projected is valued by the Ecliptic and every star being on the Ecliptic, whch isnt obviously the case, thus astrology measurements isnt the same as astronomers measurements.

This can be confusing, but i feel is meant to be by using both measurements, by projected, we find that Sirius is conjunct the Sun on 4th July 1775, 1779, 1783, 1787, 1791, 1795 and 1799 before it becomes every year on 4th July within the first six hours of the day, thus Sirius is becoming the central star on 4th July in the Western hemesphere, indeed after 5pm in America and Philidelphia, it still is Sun conjunct the Sirius by projected measurement, even today!

Parans are by location, thus we know that the heliacal rising star for Philadelphia, was Alnilam on 4th July 1776, by 03 minutes 32 seconds before Sunrise...pretty exact!

We also know by paran that Alnilam was fading as the Heliacal rising star for Philidelphia in 1776, we know that 1798 was the last year that Alnilam was the heliacal rising star for Philidelphia on 4th July, by 1799 it is Althena.

Neoclassicism can be defined in many different ways...To the ancient Egyptians, Alnilam, being the central star in the Belt of Orion, was the image of Osiris, who faded away and flew to the stars.....Funny that Philadelphia shows this, isnt it, by paran by 1778/1779!

Also in Egyptian myths, Isis becomes more important, as displayed by Sirius on 4th July, as every year shows a connection between the Sun and Sirius,(Conjunction), for the first 6 hours on 4th July, in Philadelphia, U.S.A. up to Sunrise, by projected measurement by 1799, as it has crossed over from 3rd July!

Also by 1799, by projected, Mercury rose with the Sun, in Philadelphia, Mercury is deemed by some religions as Horus, or Hermes in Neoclassical Greece.

Was George Washington working the Egyptian myths in the sky over Philadelphia, by the Declaration of Independence and Neoclassical intrepretation?

It wouldnt surprise me as i can show this effect countless times in this thread!

Okay, going through previous information, no one can deny that the last minute of the Julian Calendar happened in Rome, Italy, at 23:59pm on 4th October 1582, when by paran Sirius was rising, also because ten days were taken out, that by projected measurement, that Sirius was conjunct the M.C. by projected Measurement on the first Gregorian Calendar New Year, being 00:00am 1st January 1583.

Also no one can deny that by paran on 00:00am on 14th September 1752, being the first minute that England, (London), accepted the Gregorian Calendar, That Alnilam was rising by paran, 02 Mins 45 Secs on Asc. This included all Colonies at that time.

Obviously at midnight on Jan 1st Sirius was conjunct the M.C. by projected at New Year.

As Sirius isnt on the ecliptic, which is the basis of the projected measurement, the reason that Sirius chimes in the New Year still by Paran is that, as far as Sirius is concerned it isnt that far off the the paran/scientific measurement, so as the projected measurement faded due to procession, the paran measurement took over, i believe this was known about by Pope Gregory XIII, thus we have the change over from projected to paran in the 20/21st Century, with Sirius bringing in New Year.

It must known that working out the calendar changes that happened between the Julian and Gregorian calendar reform in different countries is a nightmare, although no one doubts events in London and Rome.

I can feel for Kim Farnell who has done a lot of research in this area.

Looking at all calendar lists, including Kim Farnell's report, not many dispute that the City of Utrecht, in the Netherlands/Holland, 52*N05', 05*E08' changed over calendars between Nov 30th, and began on the first minute of Dec 12th 1700.

As all astrology programmes only show the calendar reform of 1582 that is applied to all countries, which didnt happen, we have to be careful here, as 30th Nov. 1700 can not be used, as it is already 12th Dec. 1700.

The right way to set this up is 00:00am on 12th Dec. 1700, to look for any neoclassical religious beliefs....you will find it is similiar to what happened in London in 1752 leading up to New Year 1753.

So if we look at the parans, Star on angle at moment for Utrecht, Netherlands at 00:00am on 12 Dec. 1700, we find Alnilam culminating at the mid-heaven orb 01 mins 32 secs.

Obviously we have Sirius conjunct M.C. at 00:00am 1st Jan. 1701, by projected for Utrecht.

This is only a City, but it has powerful implications, Utrecht is the religous centre of Holland, please look up, but also the Balliwick of Utrecht of the Teutonic Order in the Netherlands, or the Netherlands Johanniter Order, or The Knightly Order of Saint John of Jerusalem in the Netherlands....just the people i would expect to create the myths of ancient Egypt in the stars by neo-classicism!

So, has the myths of Osiris/Isis/Alnilam/Sirius been used elsewhere in a birth of a Nation, Like the United States?
Probably, please find link below on the Inauguration of the Federation of Australia into the Commonwealth, which started at Noon, 1st Jan. 1901, in Sydney, Australia, 33*S53', 151*E13'.

When time zones came in, this means that Sirius is on the M.C. at New Year by paran by every 15 degrees of Longitude from the Greenwich Meridian, Sydney is one degree out, being 151*E13', but by the early years of the 20th Century Sirius was getting out of sinc slightly on these degrees, so is picked up by the next degree.

So Sirius at the longitude of Sydney will be culminating at New Year, but we will also find Sirius near the I.C. angle at Mid-day as well, so if you set up at chart for 11:59am, you will find it on the parans for the I.C., in fact it stays there until a few seconds before Noon.

You could say that the ceremony started with Sirius on an angle, but there is more, as the heliacal Setting star for Sydney is Alnilam, 00 mins 59 secs, pretty exact, very important to anyone that use parans in the events of the day.

As normal astrology goes, we find Saturn close to the M.C., which is usaul choice for Nations, and a stellium in the 9th house using placidius houses.

The starlight astrology programme also shows the sky against the curve of the Earth, so if we look above the M.C. slightly off set we find the constellation Corona Australis and the star Kaus Australis passing over...perhaps an attempt at humour by the astrologer, with the Inauguration of Australia happening below!

The Province of Manitoba is a "keystone province" located in the heart of Canada. Created by the Manitoba act of 1870, and joined the Federation of Canada on 15th July 1870.

Alnilam is the heliacal rising star, from the location of Winnipeg from 12 July when, as it is too close to the Sun, therefor you wont find it termed heliacal rising, but in effect it is, as it rises 29 seconds before the Sun, and continues to be the heliacal rising star till 15th July.

Firstly i'm not interested in Conspiracy theories, but interested purely in masonic beliefs, so anyone that asks questions on conspiracy, i will not reply to, as it can cause arguments.

Frank Albo mentions that at the location of Winnipeg and the Manitoba Legislative Building that Venus and Mercury are aligned on either 3rd June 1914 when the cornerstone of the building was laid or when it was opened on 15th July 1920, where it corresponds to the date when Manitoba joined the Federation of Canada on 15th July 1870.

The Ceremony of opening shows Alnilam as the Heliacal rising star rising 02 mins 42 secs before sunrise on 15th July 1920, pretty exact!

On the 3rd June 1914 in Winnipeg we find Venus approx. ten degrees away from Mercury although both in Cancer.

On this day Mercury is conjunct Pluto, and one of the symbols for Pluto is similiar to Venus....this is where i feel a mistake has been made.

Now on 15th July 1920, we find Mercury conjunct Neptune and approx. 14*/15* degrees away from Venus.

On the roof of the Manitoba building is the "Golden Boy" representing Mercury, however in Greek mythology this represents Hermes, and going back further into Egyptian mythology, this represents THoth!

Okay, lets get back to calendar reform, and the link to astrodatabank that i privided in an earlier thread section.

Trying to work out when Greece changed calendars is a nightmare, however most students will value 23rd March 1924 as the first date of Gregorian reform, but there are other dates as well.

Obviously in looking at parans, we would go to the capital first, being Athens, interestingly enough Alnilam isnt far from the the Descendant angle on this date....in fact by 1927 (23rd March at 00:00am) it is on the descendant, however it is only creeping in every 4th year.

The use of parans and fixed stars is ancient astrology, and is strictly visible astrology, so if Alnilam was used as a measure then it wasnt from Athens.

But if i as a member of one of the mystery schools, or of the Eleusian Mysteries, would i choose ATHENS?

Perhaps not, yes Athens has all the art, mathematics and is the father of Democracy, but if i was a romantic, with my head filled with the myths legends and history of Greece, i would stand on high ground near Sparta (Now Sparti 37*N05' 22*E26' in Peloponissos, West of Athens).

Sparta is filled with the myths, legends and history of Ancient Greece, it is the place of the original special forces, all others are only shadows compared to King Leonidas and the 300!

If i was that Greek astrologer i would stand in Sparta and think of Homers Iliad, and Menelaus, King of Sparta, and where Paris kidnapped Helen of Troy, and at midnight on the first day that Greece accepted the Gregorian calendar, i would watch Alnilam exactly on the descendant angle on the horizon (setting at descendant orb 01 mins 39 secs.).

Obviously there are other places like Patrai (38*N15' 21*E44') that Alnilam sets...but i would be standing watching it from Sparta!
