Don't worry about Andrew, he's just having a whinge. If we don't understand someone else's abbreviations, we can easily ask :)
Prehaps Russian will do? I think it has to do with respecting that visitors may neither be frequent in the English tongue, nor our astrology, let alone all our abreviations. Personally, I spend enough time with my head in dictionaries. How on earth some of our foreign friends get on, I can only imagine.

If the chart is declared radical I want to know the lord of the day, hour, the ascendant and know on what grounds the chart is declared radical. If not, I don't stand a chance - and I introduced the damn thing... :-T Of course, I could always ask newcomers to go through our posts the last few months but that might not be an all too atractive start. My suggestion is that we take a think regarding in which ways the forum can be improved. I would like it to be easy and available to all.

Pardon me for blowing the whistle! I realize it probably sounded like a sneeze!

Portsmouth-Newcastle 0-0 !!
See! Moving away from the favourite!
Although not as far as I would have it! Well done, Ficina! :)
I think our overall results and understanding is improving, or am I wrong?

Result: Portsmouth 0 - 0 Newcastle

So it was a draw after all. Pity I went for a 2-2 scoreline but hey ho...

Interesting that West Brom/Watford which kicked off 5 mins later with virtually identical chart also ended in a draw, 1-1.

Re Liverpool/Blackburn game (details on previous page), this reminds me of that L'pool/Everton game where the chart indicated a win for the underdogs, Everton, but the faves won. As Gem has pointed out, there are two testimonies for Blackburn - Moon opp antiscion POF and antiscion Saturn (L7) conj MC. The only testimony for Liverpool is that the chart is radical.

As always, it's very difficult to predict against an odds-on fave playing at home, especially one of the Big Four. I sometimes wonder if antiscial testimonies are sufficient for an underdog to cause any kind of upset. Apparently Liverpool often draw their home games after they've played in Champions League. Could this be another of those occasions?

Tough one to call... Sometimes underdogs can overcome odds-on-faves and often cannot... but as you say
Liverpool often draw their home games after they've played in Champions League. Could this be another of those occasions?
And also it may depend on Blackburn's current form... :???:

And also it may depend on Blackburn's current form
Which was much better in the first half of the season. Their more recent successes have been against the lower clubs.

I've just noticed that, as you pointed out in the Portsmouth chart, the Asc ruler, Sun, is received by the hour ruler, Mars, which wasn't sufficient for the faves to win, but then the chart wasn't radical.

I'm forced to make a decision for my Guardian predictions, so I'm going for a 2-0 win to Liverpool.

Thank you for the kind words on the Conference, the day went very well. I'll post something up on the News Forum, when I have chance, to acknowledge the speakers.

I note that I have caused offence by my previous contribution and question.

I'll clarify what my thoughts and past questions when I clear as to what constraints are to exist and clear on the confusion that appears to be present now.

In an attempt to join in, I have Liverpool/Blackburn as a draw. Interesting comment and comparison on the previous Liverpool/Everton game.

Glad the conference went well, John, and look forward to hearing all about it. I don't see anything offensive in your previous posts but yeah, there does seem to be a bit of confusion around :D

I notice nobody has mentioned the main game of the weekend which is ManU v Arsenal, 4.00pm BST, -1.00, Manchester, Asc 12,47 Virgo. ManU are odds-on faves and home team so I give them Asc.

Testimonies for ManU:
Chart is radical (hour ruler Venus rules earth triplicity by day)
Mercury (L1) trine POF

Testimonies for Arsenal:
Antiscion Jupiter (L7) conj IC
Moon trine antiscion Jupiter

This is another difficult one to call but I've gone for a 2-1 win to ManU because I think their testimonies are marginally stronger.

John
Pleased to hear that the conference was a success. You didn't cause any offense at all; I suppose I was being a bit dumb asking too many questions (as usual).

Ficina
You've been doing extremely well :D Particularly impressive prediciting the correct score for the ManU game :'
