by john I understand why Andrew considered the Liverpool chart radical. My understanding is that Lilly and Bonatti would describe it as not radical. By my way of keeping up to date with these different radical types, I now have a Type 5 radical or an 'Andrew radical variant No 1' Going by Lilly/Bonatti, the chart was not radical, so it moved it away from the favourite and the testimonies were not strong enough, or sufficiently contradictory, to create no victory for either team. 194 by Andrew Bevan You may call it an Andrew variant Type No 5, John, if that makes things easier. The only terms I have is the right to air certain dibs and dabs now and again of how I have seen things work over the years. Lilly used an Andrew variant Type No 5 radical solution on pg 162 of Christian astrology. The question was regarding a ship at sea. Cancer ascendant in the hour of Venus. Moon and Venus have the same powers, ie. moderate/moist, the control is shifted back to the lady of the hour, Venus. Venus is a benefic and the star of existance = the ship is safe. [ Venus also shares powers with the sign on the asendant, but the sign on the ascendant cannot perform without its ruler (or a planet that holds dignity there) and the relationship between the lady of the hour and the ascendant is granted radical by the lady of the ascendant, who is the Moon. The Moon doesn't answer the question. Venus does. The management of the question gets pushed back to Venus. This is one of the things that taught me the thing about the control planet, and that when the chart is qualified in several manners like in the given example, type No5 is given priority. ] http://www.astronor.com Quote Wed Apr 23, 2008 9:13 am
by Ficina I think I'd want to see more examples of this working in football charts. As John said Going by Lilly/Bonatti, the chart was not radical, so it moved it away from the favourite And chart not radical + VOC Moon = draw, as we have seen before. However, I am posting something on the radicality thread which is relevant to this discussion. Quote Wed Apr 23, 2008 9:40 am
by Gem 'Andrew radical variant No 1' Hahahaha (I'll look at the use in CA later) I got the result right( I'm not boasting ... thought the chart wasn't radical and becuase of the Moon not making any aspects in teh sign.... simple stuff for a simple-minded) but kept wondering why I couldn't see Liverpool winning in the chart when the chart wasn't radical till almost at the end(94th mins). How tragic PS I remember several occasions even anti-POF slap bang on AC didn't work... Last edited by Gem on Wed Apr 23, 2008 1:56 pm, edited 2 times in total. Quote Wed Apr 23, 2008 12:34 pm
by Andrew Bevan I thought you were tempting me to a word game there a moment, Gem To follow the pun which was quite harmless, I am sure: Actually, you can use Andrews against resistant Gems - but the only ones I know are quite friendly! http://www.astronor.com Quote Wed Apr 23, 2008 1:37 pm
by Gem Gosh it's really incredible, how much those posts in the forum make me laugh! How dare you to rhyme Gems with germs I muttered about some resistant variant germs and deleted it in case Andrew got offeneded but honestly I'm glad he didn't Last edited by Gem on Wed Apr 23, 2008 4:00 pm, edited 1 time in total. 199 by Ficina I muttered about some resistant variant germs and deleted it... I'm glad I read it before you deleted it. I thought it was really funny I remember several occasions even anti-POF slap bang on AC didn't work... I think you're right. I don't know why I continue to use these iffy testimonies. I think I've finally given up on cadent conjunctions to angles. If I ever mention them again, someone please remind me they don't work! Quote Wed Apr 23, 2008 2:33 pm
by john Barcelona V Man U So is this another type 5 radical. LOH sun, ascendant scorpio, so not radical by humour(type 4) but by Andrew's method by LOH and ruler of ascendant. Going by last night, result moves away from favourite, who I assume to be Barcelona, although I expect some English betting sites may have Man U as favourites. Is there enough for Man U to win? LOH controls Man U (7th) and Man U, venus is cadent in the sign of the ascendant ruler. Result-draw. Quote Wed Apr 23, 2008 3:10 pm
by Ficina According to oddschecker.com, all the bookies bar one have Barca as marginal faves, purely on home advantage presumably. Ladbrokes' odds are equal. I think it's difficult when there isn't a clear fave. In this situation, is the expected outcome a draw? Is there anything in the chart to suggest that it won't be? Footballwise I'd say that ManU will win but since I don't see any testimonies for them in the chart, I'll go for a draw. Quote Wed Apr 23, 2008 4:50 pm
by Ficina Goca, ManU are wearing white. Not sure if that will affect your colour allocation. Quote Wed Apr 23, 2008 6:44 pm
by Goca Oh, yes, I was so silly when I suspect that thay will wear black, because thay will no be differnet to much on TV. I will now asign MU to DSC because of ruler Ve, white and Barsa to ASC because of ruler Ma, red, (Sco is no way white), so now I think Barsa will win according to testimonies I write in my previous post.
