I felt so much better after realidng Leelee's post.
what is the first and next 2'30?
Was she possibly talking about the odds??
Interesting idea to include the 1st leg chart into consideration.

I think you're right. Even though Mercury is whizzing along at a rate of knots, it's never going to move as fast as the Moon!

Yes, I remember Leelee suggesting this earlier in the thread and I'm banking on it working for Liverpool tomorrow!
Was she possibly talking about the odds??
Could be, but most of the bookies have ManU as odds-on :?

Great! ManU win 1-0!!
I think that is a result we all can live with.
Barcelona put up a good fight! :)

PS! I still think Mercury translated the Moon to Mars. The Moon cannot reach Mars. Moon is faster than Mercury, Mercury is faster than Mars. The Moon gets through to Mercury, who gets through to Mars. If Mars had been in Mercury's sign, ie. roles turned around, then we would have called it a collection. If Moon had been in Mercury's place, we would have called it a translation - that is for sure! Here it is Mercury who gets the job done, thus Mercury translates.

It is good to discuss these technical matters and get several opinions, though! :'

Yes I agree, Andrew.
It's not technically called 'translation' but the Moon squaring Mercury (orb, one deg= one goal) worked for Man U becuase Mars (LOH and LOA) was in partile sextile with Mercury.

It did :D According to Graeme Tobyn's article on this site, it is a type two translation.

Apologies for doubting you, Andrew. This chart/game was a perfect illustration - one lunar aspect = one goal for United! It was an excellent game to watch and ManU did really well to withstand all the pressure from Barca. Both sides played well.

I got the score wrong. I thought that hour agreement with Asc and Desc indicated that both sides would score, but I was basing that assumption on previous games that were draws. It doesn't necessarily apply to all games across the board. Still on the learning curve :)

Well done to Leelee for getting the result right :'

Chelsea v Liverpool
7.45pm BST, -1.00
Fulham, London
Asc 5,12 Scorpio

Looks like a win for the Asc team. The Sun (L10) figures in all three testimonies: angular in 7th, sextile Moon, antiscion in 10th. Hour ruler has affinity with Asc. Who is Asc?

Chelsea are home team and faves but not odds-on. Colour method gives Liverpool the Asc. Mars=red, Venus=blue. In the 1st leg, antiscion POF was conj MC, favouring Liverpool.

I'm going for a 1-0 win to Liverpool, but I suspect I shall be a lone voice here.

No, Ficina, you are not! I go for Liverpool too!

I think Liverpool will win according by Chinese astrology.
Liverpool was founded in Fire Snake year.
Chelsea was founded in Wood Snake year.
This is Earth Rat Year.
Because Fire support Earth I think Liverpool will win.

Also, I would asign DSC to Chelsea (blue color), and as I see only Moon sextile to L10, and nothing else, I think Liverpool will win.
Greetings,

Not odds-on, Ficina? Please explain... I don't follow.. :?
The game is played on the Day of Mercury, in the hour of Mars. The chart is radical with the Scorpio ascendant. I am not playing a bet on this game. Chelsea unbeaten at home, Scorpio is Liverpool. My guess would be a draw at full time.

If they were odds-on (i.e. less than 2.0 in decimal terms), that would mean they were strong favourites to win. When the home team are not odds-on faves, the favouritism is more marginal and often based purely on home advantage. This justifies the use of the colour method as a decider. Just my personal view of course :)

Goca, I'm so glad you're going for Liverpool too!

I can't make my mind up. The chart being radical and the Moon sextiling the Lord 10 favour the AC but there're also testimonies for DC: Venus trine POF and L4 conjunct POF.
Yes but all in all the AC is stronger.
