86 by Gem Good we're all going for draws Anyone else? Hour ruler Venus, so chart not radical unless I've missed something! Jupiter is in Capricorn (Earth trip) so it's not entirely non-radical. If there were testimonies for Russia, it'd be possible for Russia to win but there is none. Quote Sat Jun 14, 2008 1:38 pm
87 by Seiko Spain/Sweden Spain wins. Spain (L1) is on the S. Node but L7 is combust. Greece/Russia. Scoreless draw (most likely) or Greece 1-0. Two the most boring teams in the tournament. Greece is all about D while Russia is playing with no heart and can't score to save their lives. Last edited by Seiko on Sat Jun 14, 2008 2:35 pm, edited 1 time in total. 88 by Ficina Good we're all going for draws Yes, we stand or fall together Jupiter is in Capricorn (Earth trip) so it's not entirely non-radical. I didn't understand what you meant by this when you mentioned it in the Portugal/Turkey game, but the penny has just dropped - I think! Hour ruler Venus rules earth trip, is that it? BTW, I've just noticed that the 3rd phase of group matches over the next four days are being played at the same time in the same countries! Edit: Seiko, we were posting at the same time. So we're not all going for a Spain/Sweden draw. I hope you're right actually, purely because I'd like Spain to win the whole thing but I would just point out that L7 was also combust in Germany/Croatia chart Quote Sat Jun 14, 2008 2:32 pm
89 by Seiko to Ficina: It's always the little things. Take a look at Saturn in the GER/CRO event chart and ESP/SWE chart. Quote Sat Jun 14, 2008 5:57 pm

I do not agree that Greece vs Russia will have few goals, instead I think we can see at least 3 goals in this game. Quote Sat Jun 14, 2008 6:05 pm
91 by Seiko I take my words back. Russia in fact showed some heart. Still they do not impress me - and I am disgusted with the Greeks' play. The event chart seemed empty to me - and so was my prediction. Quote Sat Jun 14, 2008 10:19 pm
92 by Ficina Spain 2 - 1 Sweden Russia 1 - 0 Greece So the faves prevailed in both games. Congrats to Seiko who was the only person to make a correct prediction yesterday! My personal conclusion re Mars (L1) conj SN and Venus (L7) combust was that they cancelled each other out and the results depended on other factors in the individual charts. The three games in question were Germany/Croatia (underdogs won), Italy/Romania (draw) and Spain/Sweden (faves won). We are now halfway through the tournament and I know for a fact that I've got more predictions wrong than right, but hey ho, no-one said this was easy! Quote Sun Jun 15, 2008 9:23 am
93 by Seiko In the ESP/SWE chart Saturn (dispositor of the L4) is just inside the MC (controlled by the house), while in the GER/CRO chart Saturn falls on the MC (controls the house). But that's not the only reason, of course. Quote Sun Jun 15, 2008 9:37 am
94 by Gem So we fell togehter but Well done Seiko! I just couldn't believe it. It was 1-1 throughout the game and I was feeling smug. At the end of the game, 3 mins were added and Spain scored at 92mins Never mind, Spain deserved to win. I didn't understand what you meant by this when you mentioned it in the Portugal/Turkey game, but the penny has just dropped - I think! Hour ruler Venus rules earth trip, is that it? Yes, it's a weak kind of radicality as Venus is radical in Taurus, Cancer, Vergo(Day), Libra, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. We had this combination with the Champions League Final (Sag AC with Venus LOH) and Andrew said it was radical on two accounts: Jupiter in Venus' trip and the sign Sag is warm and moist. I agree with what Seiko said about Greece. On the other hand, Russians seem to play with much more passion. Quote Sun Jun 15, 2008 9:46 am

Jupiter and Venus were in the same trip (earth) in the CL Final chart (radicality according to Bonatus) which is not the case in Portugal/Turkey and Russia/Greece charts. I think you've created a new kind of radicality, Gem, which obviously works since the faves won both games Quote Sun Jun 15, 2008 10:29 am
