I don?t have the obliquity of the planet
there is a confusion here!

I wrote obliquity of ecliptic circle not of the planet
The obliquity of the ecliptic is the inclination of the plane of the ecliptic to the plane of the celestial equator, and has a medium value of 23?27'. this value changes little over centuries

O, I?m sorry! Now I got you!
I used your formula and I tested the result comparing with a known declination..I got the same degree but not the same seconds...anyway, I?ll use Ed?s program to give me the declination for the present chart and ...for an hyphotetical point I?ll have to wait until I get some classes on the subject.

Thank you for the patience!

I?ll try to do the formula. If I have problems I?ll let you know. Thank you again!

My apologies to Placidus?s Software

Hi Ed and everybody who followed this thread.

I continued to work with primary directions and I figured it out the declination problem I had. After I was able to do the calculations I returned to Kolev?s software and tried it again, and...it worked perfectly and according with the directions I found out by myself.
As a matter of fact the calculations with my example chart didn?t work because I wrote the wrong time zone! :(

It is not fair to claim against the program because my own mistake!
So, I decided to say publicly that the program works fine. :'

I?m sorry for that and thanks for the help with the declination issue!
