by Deb Mr Houlding is already ranked about 9000 places higher than I am, and has predicted a 2-1 win to Liverpool. I looked at the chart for this and I slightly favour the ascendant team. Does everyone here assign the ascendant to the favourite? I only feel comfortable giving the ascendant to the home team in a match like this, so I?m judging that Sunderland will get a good result. But with both Jupiter and Mercury making an immediate aspect with Venus, I don?t think either team will feel like losers at the end. So I?ve predicted a draw. My husband laughed out loud so I guess that's not good. I already feel like screwing the chart up! Quote Sat Aug 16, 2008 3:37 pm

by SusieN Hi Gem et al I'm giving Liverpool a 2 goal win over Sunderland, because as the Moon they are conjunct NN, Moon disposits POF, and Sunderland as Saturn are peregrine in the house of death that can't be healthy :-) I'm at at total loss regarding the lunar eclipse though - could mean annihilation for Liverpool?!?!? On second thoughts, I just changed my prediction to Liverpool 2, Sunderland 1. Also, I'm feeling generous - that's why 2 goals to Liverpool! (Counting on Torres here...) And Deb - I give the Asc to the faves, if neither team are playing at home... Cheers and good luck, Susie Quote Sat Aug 16, 2008 4:08 pm
by Gem Thank you Susie but I have a feeling that you're looking at the wrong chart...: Sunderland/Liverpool 17:30BST Sunderland, UK AC: 24 Sag 13 MC: 3 Scorpio 47 Quote Sat Aug 16, 2008 4:14 pm
by SusieN Goodness- I see my programme gave me 17:30 GMT, and 18:30 BST - so my ASc is 8 Cap 22 and MC 19 Sco 05??! Too bad - can't change my prediction now - but wouldn't it be funny if I got it right anyways? Cheers, Susie Quote Sat Aug 16, 2008 4:26 pm
by john Running a bit late, I've gone for a Liverpool win. Nothing says there will be a shock. Moon trine POF noted, decided this was a testimony for the favourite. Quote Sat Aug 16, 2008 4:40 pm
Sunderland 22 by mattG If we take L1 for the home team it looks in a bad way. L7 is in Cancer opposing the moon which is in the same house as Jupiter. My feeling is that suggests an away win and I am going for 2-0 ...one for each crab claw. Matt Quote Sat Aug 16, 2008 4:41 pm

by john quote="Deb"]Does everyone here assign the ascendant to the favourite?[/quote] I assign the ascendant to the favourite. If it very even, then I would go for the home team. I haven't quite worked out when to swap the ascendant from favourite to home, but in most cases I go with favourite. They may well be cases this season that will test this idea.
