Madrid air crash - Antiscia 1 by leywand Hi all, I read somewhere that the Madrid Air Crash that happened on 20.8. at 14:45 right after the start, originally was scheduled for 13:00. If you look at the chart for 13:00, there are some interesting observations concerning Antiscia to be made (close orbs): - Asz on 2? Sco in contra-antiscium to the sun (27? leo, which rules 10) - Moon on 11? Aries in antiscium to the venus-mercury conjunction (17?Virgo)..moon rules 9, mercury 8 and venus 12 and 7 - Jupiter in contra-antiscium to the Point of fortune on 16? gemini I have no idea if charts for the scheduled time are of relevance in flight considerations, but judging from this chart it seems so, as this looks very dark or shadowy. leywand Quote Mon Aug 25, 2008 5:51 pm
2 by yuzuru Hi, leywand I have no idea if charts for the scheduled time are of relevance in flight considerations, but judging from this chart it seems so, as this looks very dark or shadowy. the answer is a clear no. Why ? I know that many astrologers will swear about the chart of departure and will yell and treat those who don?t agree. But both Dr. Reason and Dr. Experience proves it so. Let?s see why. 1 - all the astrologers that I know of who says that this method work, did exactly as you did. After the plane crashed, with hindsight, cast the chart and said "oh, this look bad" ! 2 - never saw none of those astrologer doing prediction with this, because it is impossible. Only good in hindsight. 3 - why it is impossible ? Because it doesn?t matter how bad was the madrid chart, in that same day thousands of planes took flight without crashing. Many of them had charts equally difficult or worse than madrid?s. 4 - Astrology factors change slowly. If you stick around the sports forum, you will see how annoying this is. If you have an aspect of mars to saturn in the house 8th, we will have the same aspects one or two times a day for weeks. 5 - Every factor that you can possibly raise (combustion, antiscia, detriment, 8th house), I am confident that I can find a EVEN WORSE time, when no plane crashed. 6 - It is only logical that the chart seems bad. After all one hundred people lost their lives at the same moment. It doesn?t mean the plane crashed because the chart is bad. 7 - so planes and other technology are "resistent to astrology"... if they weren?t, the planes would crash all the time, at every sneeze of mars and saturn. 8 - as an mundane event, we should look at mundane charts, like lunations, eclipses and ingresses. 3 by leywand Hi Yuzuru, Your point seems to be that any event chart is useless for prediction, only explanatory in hindsight...(if at all..?) You propose to check only revolutions, ingresses, eclipses exclusively for prediction, i.e. the classical mundane tools, etc. Indeed it seems that analyzing event charts is a modern "interpretative" approach (or only useful in teaching, etc.), unless you consider event charts being elections (in this case a very bad one) - which I?ll do from now on..thanks to your reply...lol... BTW: Do you really propose to judge sports results, etc. from eclipses or ingresses ? earthquakes and tsunamis yes, but air crashes ? How? Actually the chart I posted is not the chart of departure, but of scheduled departure...the plane departed more than an hour later. And I was interested in this difference...as most analyzed the crash chart. (As in 9/11, f.e. I never saw a chart for the actual departure (or scheduled departure) of these machines). And again: I think that 20.8. 13:00, Madrid seems to have been one of the strangest event charts..oops..elections I have seen...especially from the antiscion point of view.... leywand Quote Mon Aug 25, 2008 8:07 pm
4 by yuzuru Your point seems to be that any event chart is useless for prediction, only explanatory in hindsight...(if at all..?) That has been my experience, and I can always be proven wrong. But after a time you learn to see what works and what doesn?t with a lot less effort You propose to check only revolutions, ingresses, eclipses exclusively for prediction, i.e. the classical mundane tools, etc. for prediction of mundane events, I propose mundane tools, yes. Indeed it seems that analyzing event charts is a modern "interpretative" approach (or only useful in teaching, etc.), unless you consider event charts being elections (in this case a very bad one) - which I?ll do from now on..thanks to your reply...lol... There is many people who, if they see this thread, will try to kill me. But I have been learning, throught the years, that we shouldn?t confuse events (and elective) with horary astrology. Horary works in another (and superior) level. For example, to do an horary, "will I get the work?" or see the event chart of the interview ? To me you should always see the horary. Events simply work differently. for example, we don?t use natal charts in horary. Natal charts are essencial in electional. BTW: Do you really propose to judge sports results, etc. from eclipses or ingresses ? earthquakes and tsunamis yes, but air crashes ? How? No, you misundertanded me. We have been judging sports with a good degree of success, but we don?t use horary rules for them. We use specific rules. About the air crashes I still don?t have idea of how to do it. Some years ago, I was interested in using the chart of the event of a missing person. What I found was that astrologers usually use the time given by the media, and this time can be as well as 30 minutes wrong, as jounalist simply don?t care about it. The time that the person was last seen can be hours and hours before a kidnapping or murder, and even this time is usually wrong ! That?s a normal feature of event charts. And again: I think that 20.8. 13:00, Madrid seems to have been one of the strangest event charts..oops..elections I have seen...especially from the antiscion point of view.... I believe... antiscias are very tricky and powerful little creatures ! One time I got an event chart of an interview right, because of the profusion of antiscia connecting the chart to the natal time.
