133 by Deb You were spot-on with your prognosis of the Mars effect there, Deb Like Suzie, I really didn't know what to make of it, and because I'm so busy this week, I just copied most of my husband's predictions. Of course he played safe so it looks like a bad week points wise. But I think we were right to note that the prominent, angular Mars meant less defensive tactics and more aggresive attack - hence the goals have been quite high - was it 5-1 for Wigan? Also, that move of Venus does seem to reflect the fact that some team fortunes turned around in a startling manner (I think ??). I tried to change my prediction for Arsenal to 3-0, but I left it too late so I have to stick with what I entered earlier, (1-0), but I now think there will be more goals and more surprises in the game. 134 by john Well done Ficina on the 3-0 Arsenal prediction, you'll have an unasailable lead soon. It looks as if the Solar Fire programme is reaping dividends already I also went for Arsenal, with the same use of the POF aspect. I'll be even more impressed if you got the Wigan score exact!! 135 by Deb Well look at that - 3-0! Well at least I'm glad you got that in Ficina, so well done to you. It was about 25 minutes before the match started that I tried to enter that, but it locked me out so I'm going to miss the points again The closeness of Jupiter to the ascendant on the trine to asc-ruler was very persuasive and it's so nice to get a clear chart every now and again! 136 by Ficina I went specifically for 3-0 based on the Moon's aspects (Sun, Saturn, Jupiter), so it was good to see that method working. I entered all my scores on Friday so got a bit worried after we had so many goals in the earlier games. Thought there might be none left in the pot! I'll be even more impressed if you got the Wigan score exact!! Er, no I didn't even get the result correct. I went for a draw. With Moon partile square POF I was pretty sure home/faves couldn't win but never imagined them being beaten so soundly. Poor old Hull. Quote Sat Aug 30, 2008 7:31 pm
137 by SusieN Morning sports fundis What a weekend sofar! Well done Ficina Well, I managed to scrounge together a whole 2 points up until now The combust Moon certainly did the visitors in - South Africa trounced Australia in yesterdays rugby match 53 - 8 - after losing so horribly in the previous 2 games. Another huge score difference. Let's see what the rest of the weekend holds! Cheers, Susie Quote Sun Aug 31, 2008 6:32 am
138 by Ficina Thanks, Susie. It certainly was a strange weekend with only three faves winning. I thought Chelsea was a banker with Moon conj MC. I guess it must have been the opposition to Uranus that put a spanner in the works. The only testimony I noted for Spurs was Moon partile square antiscion Jupiter (L4) which I thought would get them a goal, but not a draw. (Result was 1-1.) Mars (L4) conj MC from 9th certainly favoured Man City (who won 3-0) but unfortunately I thought it would only get them a draw. Moon opp Uranus was still in operation but since it wasn't angular I didn't set much store by it. Hopefully other people got that result correct. Quote Mon Sep 01, 2008 8:43 am
