The rumors are flying fast and furious that John McCain's VP pick is Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska.

She has a tight conjunction in Aquarius of Sun, Mars, and Saturn. Mercury is also in Aquarius and if she was born after 8:39 am local time, her Moon is also in Aquarius. There is a partile Mercury - Venus sextile (noon chart) and like Biden there are no oppositions in her chart. Also like Biden the only square is from an outer Planet (Neptune 5 degrees + to the Sun-Mars-Saturn conjunction).

Interesting personal note, she was an athlete in high school and her nickname was "Sarah Barracuda" supposedly due to the ferocity of her play.

As of now, 10:30 EDT, this is not official.

In what sense? Personally, I think McCain has made a very astute choice in selecting her. Still, maybe all that Aquarian emphasis is making me biased.

No inside info and something of a lucky guess. Unlike a lot of people, I knew who she was prior to the announcement. I heard an interview with her back in April of this year, and there is or was a website Palin for Veep or something like that. I could wax eloquent on some of the reasons she was chosen but that wouldn't be astrology. Whether she is a good pick or not remains to be seen.

We do not have a birth time for her and I've been told that Idaho is one state that strictly guards personal information so unless she releases it, we won't have accurate information any time soon. I keep checking Lois Rodden's site, but so far nothing.

If anyone finds anything regarding her birth info, I hope they post it here.

Unconfirmed Time of 9:43 AM floating about on a few lists. If I get a rating or other confirmation, I'll let you know.

Thanks Granny. I've seen the 9:43 time, but as of this writing, there is zero documentation or even confirmation that it is a rectification if that's what it is. I've also read, online, that Idaho is one of the tougher states to obtain this information unless one can prove one is entitled to it.

I'd hold off a bit on this one.

I like the 9:43 pm -- it puts that 5 star aquarium stellium in the fifth of children, and she has 5 children.

plus -- she is heading into a progressed full moon -- check into exact maturity date of that -- I was going to use that as a rectification tool, but if he matures in 4 months resonant with her daughter's birthing, it's a confirmatin factor.
