Go on holiday? 1 by Harlequin The querent has been told she will be going abroad on holiday with her daughter, and wants to know when they'll be going, as it seems unlikely as they're both broke! "When will my daughter and I go abroad on holiday"? 18th. August 2004, 9:29pm, Worcester, UK. 6 Aries rising. Mother = Mars, Daughter = Moon, holiday = Jupiter. Moon Void of Course and early degrees on the Ascendant. Would this suggest that the question is premature and can't be answered at the moment? H. Quote Thu Aug 19, 2004 12:29 pm
by Deb Oh if only life were so simple that being told a holiday will happen means it will. Six degrees rising isn?t too early to judge but the VOC Moon suggests it?s a non-issue to begin with. I?d be reluctant to accept this question myself ? I?d rather suggest the querent goes back to whoever told them this is going to happen and ask them to explain the when, where, how and why of it. It seems a bad idea to put into the head of someone who is too broke to contemplate it. Quote Thu Aug 19, 2004 1:12 pm
by Harlequin Thanks Deb... I did feel uneasy about this question, as though it was a "non-starter" to begin with. The querent was told about the holiday during a "psychic" reading with a medium she has complete faith in. Apparently everything she's been told before by this medium has come to pass, so she's sure it will happen, just doesn't know when! Thanks for your reply! H. Quote Thu Aug 19, 2004 3:14 pm
by granny_skot LOL... Oh I had to respond, I was once told I was going on a LONG holiday, just days before I was laid off, it was SIX months before I found a new position. BEWARE of the true meaning of fortune cookie prophesies! Granny Quote Thu Aug 19, 2004 4:36 pm
by HoraryQueen Hi, A couple of guidelines I was given for ensuring the question is 'valid': Always try to get a timescale for things, so 'will we go on holiday within two years' say. Also, try to ensure the question has a reasonable chance of going either way. I don't know the people involved, but it does strike me as unlikely that they will not ever go on holiday together at some point, although I could be wrong. For this reason, I appreciate what Debs is saying and probably wouldn't be too happy to take this question myself. Granny, I'm glad that you can laugh at these things and I hope you enjoyed your long holiday. Regards. P.S. Isn't Mercury Retrograde a complete pain in Uranus? Everything is going so slow. 6 by Harlequin Thanks Granny and HoraryQueen for Your input... it will be interesting to see if the 100% accuracy record of this medium for this querent will be maintained! H. Quote Thu Aug 19, 2004 7:58 pm
