in horary stellar system if you want to know potency and procreative power-child birth yhe rule is if the sub lord of 5th cusp is linked through its star lord with favourable houses with respect to 5th cusp, and also supported by its sub lord, we generally declare that native is potent. if this sub lord establish links with only unfavourable houses like 4 and 12 ( i.e. 12th and 8th from 5th ) and 10th which is 12th to 11, the person lacks potency i. e. performence of sexual act.

potency of native does not sure child birth. the person is said to be destined to have a child if the sub lord of the 5th cusp establish link through its star lord and sub lord as -
star lord in 5 ,sub lord in 2 or 11, star lord in 11 sub lord in 2 or star lord in 2 sub lord in 11.

the appearance of sub lord in 4 and 12 or 4 or 12 shows delay in child birth.

if the sublord of 5th cusps sub linked simultaneously to 4 and 12, it shows lost of 1st child and abortion in case of female native

for the potency of partener we check the 11th cusp in same manner.

timing the child birth-
if the native is promised child birth then during the joint period of planets that are strongly linked with 2-5 and 11 through there star lords and supported by there sub lords. the transit of major period with sun and moon must agree.
the planets co-ruling the 5th cusp as sign-star or sub or planets in there star and sub will decide the ascendant of child. the sub lord of 5th cusp will indicate moon star of the child.

in fundamental principles of astrology,(krishnamurti publications, madras/India,2002) on page 197, it is published-

the 5th house is the house of progeny. it denotes whether one will have children or not. benefics or moon in the 5th house increase the strength and number of progeny. fruitful signs- cancer, scorpio, and pisces- on the cusps of 5 or 11 promise children, if the other tetimonials also lend support. barren signs- aries , leo, virgo- on the cusps 5th or 11th (11th house being 5th to 7th represents the wife) and the lords of 5 or 11 not in fruitful signs, the lord of lagna not occupying a fruitful sign, and no fruitful planet in the 5th or 11 th house are indications of no children. the 5th house signify the 1st conception, the 7th shows the second, the 9th shows third and so on.

Hi StanStar:

I see no encouragement to offer here. I do think there will be pregnancies but no children. There are many confirmations on that (no children will live) in her chart.

If its important to her, maybe its best you not tell her my opinion.
