by Gem Susie I'm wondering how he would "destroy" L1....(in my case Chelsea) Are you supporting Chelsea then? (Then I'll have to be more civil towards Chelsea). Pluto on the AC is very damaging to the AC team. I wrote what I wrote not becuase JF said so but because I've seen it many times with my own eyes. But of course other factors in the chart must be considered as well. Quote Thu Sep 18, 2008 10:36 am
by SusieN Hi Gem I really have only one team that I somewhat like, and I "inherited" this liking from my late son: Liverpool. He was a diehard fan since the age of 7. I'm very sorry that he can't see how well "his" team is doing at the moment (well maybe he does know). I was wondering though about the Chelsea-MU match, because following the progress of MU, - well they seem a bit muddled at the moment. What I know about all the various teams is very little, but I'm enjoying myself anyhow! Cheers Susie Quote Thu Sep 18, 2008 10:50 am

Hi Susie, Based upon some of my predictions, I would have said the less you know about the teams gives you a distinct advatage Certainly after your successes of last weekend Quote Thu Sep 18, 2008 11:27 am

I looked at the Spurs match at the weekend (and Chelsea-ManU) ahead of the others especially because it's been so depressing for Spurs (Spurs fans were advised to look at the league table upside down... ) , only to find that Pluto smack bang on the AC in the next Spurs match . In the Chelsea/ManU chart, the effect may be slightly weakened(still it's a testimony against Chelsea) becuase it's about 15 degs away from the AC. I'd say more. Pluto about 15 degs have no effect at all. If Pluto placed, how I said above, in 1,5 degs form Cusp or Significator or Fortuna Its effect can be overwelmed by other testimonies like bodily contacts. 89 by Ficina I'm wondering how he would "destroy" L1 JF has described it as shooting themselves in the foot, so I guess it could be something like squandering an early lead, incurring a penalty, missing a penalty, scoring an own goal - that kind of thing. In the examples I've found, using an orb up to 3 degs (and with no other testimonies), it seems to be Pluto retro that causes the problems and even then, the faves have drawn but not lost. Also we do have some Moon aspects to consider in the Sunday charts. Quote Thu Sep 18, 2008 3:37 pm
by Gem Hi Uber I'm so sorry I sounded terribly arrogant didn't I? What Uber means is Pluto applying from the 12th to the AC. That's what I thought you meant by: If Pluto is close at 1 or 1,5 degrees from ASC and applying to "frozen" cusp, it is strong testimony against faves. I agree with you it's about 2 degs either side of the AC and 15degs are really too far from the AC to have any detrimental effects. Anyway, great to see you back! I have plenty of examples where the AC team lost with Pluto on the AC but here we're talking about 3oclock games, where I'm not sure 'normal rules' apply( I mean it's totally unpredictable), so I may not have to despair too much for Spurs. Sun in the 10th house * the ascendant. Sunderland, who are favourites win. The loosers pick up the delibiations of the Moon's application to Saturn. My guess! http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Sep 20, 2008 10:51 am
by john Sunderland game: The antision of POF suggests Middlesbrough. No Moon aspect suggests a draw. Sun sextile ascendant favours Sunderland. MC sextile antision Moon favours Sunderland (also trine IC !). I can't find any charts with the anti POF near the descndant showing anything other than a favourites win-although they were away!! MC sextile anti Moon-only chart was a home favourite win. Jump off the fence- Sunderland Quote Sat Sep 20, 2008 11:18 am
by Ficina I have also gone for Sunderland. Moon square antiscion Mercury (L10) and antiscion Mars (L1). Although these are very minor testimonies, I'm hoping they will be sufficient for the home team/faves to win. Re antiscion POF conj Desc, I've checked for examples of ant POF conj any angle and every time it has failed to produce the goods. Quote Sat Sep 20, 2008 11:34 am
by Andrew Bevan Sunderland win 2-0 and Middelsbrough missed a penalty. Let's remember to watch 'Brough to see how long they are hassled with Luna's square to Saturn. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Sep 20, 2008 1:49 pm
by Ficina This result fits perfectly with my mutable Moon theory on both counts Pity I went for 3-1, but a point is a point! Quote Sat Sep 20, 2008 1:55 pm
by SusieN Good heavens - got this one wrong. I predicted a win for M'boro. Why I cannot remember And the way they're playing at Anfield - another one down the tube West Ham and Newcastle - I went for a draw there. I'm hoping I'll get at least 1 point for the Gunners game... Golly... Quote Sat Sep 20, 2008 3:50 pm
