by Ema So in the gentlemen's progressed chart, all the triplicity rulers of water, in water signs will be conjunct and in Mars rulership in Scorpio, in the 1st. Hi MorningSun I employ progressions and transits regularly, like you, (they're even my main technique with clients). I wouldn't complicate here. Pr. Moon and Venus are definitely weak in Scorpio ie. they show critical life stages, especially as concerns money and love - and health too, especially if they rule 1st house or are placed there... Much depends on when and which pr. aspects they make - exact, that is. I'd look for the next exact aspect of the pr. Moon. Mars is strong in Scorpio and if it happens to rule the person's 11th or 10th or 2nd or even 8th or 5th houses (or is placed there), and if the next Moon's aspect would be a harmonious trine or sextile to it, that would show success. It all depends, as I said, but I surely wouldn't bring this triplicity "thing" in here... Hope this helps? 14 by MorningSun Hello Ema, In looking over the chart again, I would stll judge this chart the same and my judgement would be for him to appeal. Reasons being: When he received the lesser disability amount, Mars was in Detriment in Libra in the 12. The REVERSE situation will be occuring, Mars will be in the 1st, and in Rulership, Very Strong, he also rules the querents 2nd hse of income. (which is why is went down when Mars was in Detriment). Secondly, as I mentioned, I'm not real comfortable with the Triplicity rulers, especially of Venus being the Triplicity of Water and Scorpio, but in this case the indicators are too potent. All the triplicity rulers will be in the 1st, both in Transit and Progressed, conjunct each other, along with the Ruler of the Sign, Mars in the house!! All supporting each other! (in this case). Mars Not only will be in the first house, (Oct 4-Nov.8th),In Rulership, then Nov. 9th in the 2nd hse, Ruler of the 2nd, (Scorpio), then, Nov14, conjunct the Prog. Asc in the 2nd, still in Scorpio, soon to be followed by Transiting Sun, conjunct Prog. Asc in the 2nd on Nov. 20th. Sun ruling the 10th hse in the natal Chart, so not only will the Sun be on his prog. Asc, but it is also the ruler of his 10th hse of Success! Thirdly, Prog. Moon and Venus, will also be conjunct by Trans. Venus, Mars, Moon, with Mars, the Depositor in the Sign all Angular. Mars rules his 6th house of hired help, health, and the 7th (physicians) in his Natal Chart. So if he started on Sept. 29th New Moon in his 11th house of friends (natal ) by Oct 2nd - 7th, he should have found new doctors and help in getting his claim together and in before Oct 15. Which would take about a month to hear something, which would co-incide with Mars / Sun, conjuct his Prog. Asc. in the 2nd house! All through Oct, his Mars will be very strong, rulership and angular. so in this case, I do still stand by my original judgement. Even without the triplicity factors, which generally I'm not a fan of, but this is just too co-incidental not to pay attention to in this case, and it may well be just all the other supporting factors, of which there are quite a few. But there are always other ways to judge, and interpret. I think in this case I'll stand on my judgement. I hope we hear how this turns out! Quote Sun Sep 21, 2008 8:55 pm
by VenusCalling Thank you Morning Sun and Ema - this is all quite fascinating! I have spoken to him this afternoon and he told me there is also an option of having the claim re-assessed by another decision maker who has the power to revise the original decision - again higher, lower or take away. This would not involve getting more doctors reports as they say they know his condition is degenerative but would rely on more information he could supply to them himself about how much his disability affects his every day living and how much help he needs from others, which he didn't emphasise enough - thereby rectifying what he may have omitted from the claim in the first place. Having a revision takes about 13 weeks. If this decision is not acceptable he would then be able to go for the appeal. I hope that makes sense! Quote Mon Sep 22, 2008 2:02 pm
by MorningSun Hello Venus Calling, which he didn't emphasise enough - thereby rectifying what he may have omitted from the claim in the first place. That was the whole problem that needs to be redone and rectified, as well as re-assessed by another person!!! That is what you (and I agree with you) judged by the horary! Let us know the outcome!! I wish him luck!! Quote Mon Sep 22, 2008 2:38 pm
by VenusCalling I will definitely let you know how it goes. Thank you again for your help - I've learned alot! Quote Mon Sep 22, 2008 5:00 pm

by Ema Hi, good news :-) This corresponds to the time unit 2,5 months that separated the Moon from the "money sign" Taurus - I mean, it's middle of November now and the decision was obviously made a bit sooner - did he tell you when he received the news? Any later and it gets a bit dicey., Dec. 5th is good, but Saturn is getting too close to his Progressed MC for my comfort, even though transiting Saturn and Jupiter will be trining, Saturn is too close to a conjunction to the Prog. MC. Nov. 20th looked better! [/img] Venus, Thank you so much for the feedback and the outcome!! Astrology never ceases to amaze me!!! Not bad, just 2-3 days off of prediction!! From my response on Sept 20th!! It is very heartening to get that type of response back!! I am VERY HAPPY FOR YOUR CLIENT and yourself!! Good for him, as I am sure he needs it!! Congrats to you both, and thanks so much, really, for the follow-up and results, it means a lot!! Best Regards, Morning Sun Quote Tue Nov 18, 2008 10:45 pm

by Trish Hi: I hope you don't mind if I chip in with congrats on that reading, Morningstar as I'm new to this thread. But I read your analysis and tried to follow along with all that everyone wrote until I couldn't resist and just had to go ahead and run the chart for myself. Its always easy to say of course *after the fact* , but I would have agreed that this appeal would be successful for all the reasons you cited! And he, Mercury disposited Saturn (L 10 of final decision) and also the L of revenue 8th. The legal filing 1st vs. 7th, goes to him as Jupiter in the revenue trines Saturn which is then disposited by him, Mercury who is in the public aid 6th house, ruled by strong Venus who favors him. I think the retrograde condition with him going back towards Mars which Ema mentioned/saw as a negative in the question *maybe* is an indicator of another illness or rough spell with some health condition he'll have to deal with. I would agree too that a matter like this, where it could have been risky to risk a possible loss, looking at his natal with the horary was a good idea. I always do that in important decisions/matters but not in less serious questions. Interesting how tight that Mercury/Neptune trine is. I would look at that more closely too for further information on his condition/future. Again, very good Morningstar! I will save this chart for future reference to these types of questions. These questions and outcomes that are posted are valuable! Trish Quote Wed Nov 19, 2008 12:34 am
by VenusCalling It's worth mentioning I think that he did have a trip to hospital after he had some heart flutters and palpitations which scared him in October as they persisted for a couple days. He has since had proper investigations involving a heart scan and blood tests for various things and was pronounced fit and well in that department. However, his arthritis has flared up at the moment causing him pain and stiffness, which from what he tells me is often the case when the weather starts to get cold. Quote Wed Nov 19, 2008 1:14 am
