I wonder, Ficina, out of the 3 matches being played at the same time, whether it is necessary to judge all three games equally. The Arsenal -Sunderland game seems to have a higher Premier ranking than the other games because Arsenal is either a Gold or Silver team... I think that if several games are played at once, one or two games may seem to 'cut the surface' more clearly than others. (?)

Maybe the games can be distinguished from each other, the topnotch game being ruled by the ascendant, the game of 2nd priority according to the 3rd house, etc? (First marriage is 7th, 2nd marriage is 9th?) Ie Turn the chart for several questions appearing at the same time? (I dunno..)

Wigan loosing at home to Middelsbrough does not seem particularly radical. WestBrom home beating Fulham does - but Fulham have played one game less than most other teams.

Andrew, you make some interesting points there. Perhaps you could test out your ideas on this afternoon's 3pm games?

Gem, you made an excellent point earlier re radicality in Everton/Newcastle chart and I absolutely agree with you. Since your post got somewhat left behind in the excitement of yesterday's games, I shall quote it again here.

Thank you Ficina, you're ever so nice as always. I was concerned about what I wrote there becuase it occurred to me later that the blunt way I put might have come across as a criticism, which wasn't my intention (just thinking aloud there as usual).

I agree with what you wrote about Arsenal. They should have won but things seemed to have gone against them and Sunderland were extremely lucky.

Did anyone watch Man Utd yesterday? They've recovered form and were magnificent Exquisite football!! (well done ManU and well done me )

I must say that MU played EXTREMEly well in view of the fact that they were combust Congrates Gem!

I must say this weekend's games so far didn't tie up much for me in the astrological sense , so I'll go off now and have another Sangria in the sun instead with my husband, and chat to my dogs .

I will be cheering for Villa and the significance of Jupiter - so I guess my pennies are on the draw.

ManC - Liverpool Judged by the 3rd house. Tin meets Gold
The exaltation degree of Saturn is on the cusp of the 9th, while his fall is on the cusp of the 3rd. The chart is radical - surely the guests will not be overpowered.

Portsmouth - Stoke Judged by the 5th house. Iron meets Lead
This one is interesting, becuase Portsmouth could be represented by the 5th and ruled by combust retro Mercury, while Jupiter L11th is angular in the radical chart. May I suggest Stoke could suprize?

Tottenham - Hull Judged from the 7th cusp. Lead meets Bronze.
I like the dignity that Jupiter holds on the cusp of the 7th. He is in CP and I have Tottenham down as under the influence of CP or AQ in my personal notes. However, Hull has much of a similar twang to it. Could Tottenham turn things around today? It is not impossible.

I would just like to add that the total value of the Spurs - Hull game is higher than Portsmouth - Stoke, ie. Lead+Bronze > Iron+Lead, but Spurs are Champions of the bottom at the moment. I think this is something that should be left open for discussion... But in general, let's just discuss the whole thing...
