The Norwegian National Budget was released today Oct. 7. at 10.00 LST. Norway are in the fortunate position of a strong national economy, thanks to the oil - but as the Finance Minister, Kristin Halvorsen, admits, the budget does not take into account the present gloabal economic crises.
Mercury is retrograde - subject to revision?
Other interesting features would be the Sun (in fall) joined to but separating from Mercury. The Moon (in detriment) is joined to but separating from Jupiter. The emphasis of Mercury and Jupiter implies an 'opening of gates' as according to Al-Birumi, which is equal to a 'change in the weather'.

It will cost more to own a house, but less to inherit - here taxes were reduced from a previous 8% to a proposed 6%. Yes, dying is still an expensive proposition!

MP Lars Sponheim (V) suggested that the Norwegian government could help of Iceland from their currenct economic bankruptcy. This makes sense because the Norwegians have much to thank Iceland for. Much due to the Cod-war in the 70's (between Great Britain and Iceland) this gave the Norwegian's expanded terrestial rights to the marine resources surrounding their coast line. The Norwegians could then claim oil resources that elsewise may have landed in other hands.

Historically, Norwegian industry was much subsidized by the British at the beginning of the previous century when the Norwegians were a poor nation to reckon and consisted of mainly fishermen and farmers. Rex E. Bills has both Great Britain and Iceland as listed under Aries. It would be interesting if Norwegian received aid from an Aries country and then return the gesture to the same sign at a later stage. Apparently the British have agian got their feathers ruffled in regard to Iceland due to the present financial difficulties.

It would be interesting to view the chart of Iceland and maybe make chart comparisons to other nations. This seems like a good idea for another thread.

One one the winners in this years bugdet was road building and public transport/railway and train services. Notice the Moon and Jupiter in the 3rd house in Capricorn.
