Question about health

1
Hello!
Someone put this question about his health problems (what can you tell me about my health problems?). I made the chart for the time when I received the question.
This is the chart:

I think it is interesting that Mars is the querent significator, but also the 6 House significator. Is on the Ascendent. This show his problems I think.
Also in his Mars in his house, so he is powerfull but the disease is also powerfull.
Mars in the 12 house acctually, 4 degree behind the ascendent.
Can i judge this like 4 weeks between some problems will appear?
And that he don`t know very good about the disease (mars in 12), but after this time, when mars will be in first house, he will find more about the disease?
Also Sun in 12 house is a bad omen.
Moom in Cancer in 8 house :(.
Had a trine with Mars (concerned about disease) and will make a oposition with Jupiter.
It is a little confusing the fact that Mars signifies the querent, but also the 6 House.
What do you think?

With no experience with question concerning health whatsoever, I wouldn't dare suggesting anything here, I'll rather try to learn something from what others might say but, as for this Mars in the 12th you're mentioning-
Mars in the 12 house actually, 4 degree behind the ascendent.
I'm more keen to believe it is actually in the 1st (5 degree rule) though, the conjuction with the ascendant is a sign enough it is strongly connected to the 1st.
Any planet in the 1st house can be considered co-significator of the Querent and can be helpful and decriptive so, you might try to look look at this Venus as well, and see what it has got to say.

These are just suggestions of course. :D

Hi Sam
For your sixth house ruler go to the next cusp and that becomes the new 6th house ruler. In this case it would be Venus. Venus is in 1st house in Sagittarius and in term of Jupiter. Plus, no aspect between Mars and Venus, he looks pretty strong to me.

Hi Kali! Where did you get that from? :) Surely Venus is ruler of the 7th house. I've never come across that before. If significator rules both the querant and the quesited usually we use the Moon for the quesited don't we?
I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong though.

Hi Stanstar!
The idea comes from Frawley's "Horary Textbook". It was in a section titled Alternatives to house rulers. He states:

"The ruler of the next sign round will never be co-ruler of that house; it can become sole ruler if the Lord of that house is already busy doing something else. This will usually be necessary only if we need to find an aspect between querent and quesited in order to answer the question, in which case we must, of course, have different significators for them."

Can't say I've read of such a technique before but, I can see the sense of it given Taurus does take up much of the sixth house. Plus, Venus is in the first, seems like it's an important factor.

I'm not sure about using the Moon as the quested. Just leaving a trine with Mars maybe the querant was worried about his life due to an illness? Did something happen to cause him to worry?

A significator of illness could also be whichever planet is harming Lord 1. That planet maybe Mars itself. Mars is hot and dry but in Scorpio which runs cold and moist. Frawley says different natures shows the person is unwell. Being in the first there could be a problem with the head.

Guess I needed to rethink my first rushed post.

Hi!
I am still reluctant to use Venus like 6 house ruler, but thanks for the idea.

He had pretty big health problems. He is german and is working at an multinational company in another country. He had to return in germany because of his health problems and still it is not good. So, he is worried.

Then I would say Mars signifies the illness and the querent. Venus has just left it's detriment by moving into Sagittarius but still in Mar's fall. So yes, the problem still exists but the pressure is off. Moon is moving out of 8th to 9th showing that move back to his country. Jupiter ruler of eighth is exalted and in term with the Moon. Plus Mars is moving into aspect with Jupiter. Jupiter is in term with Mars. Getting support from others?

Mars is in triplicity with Mars. And a significator on an angle can be a good, strong sign. These are further evidence that he may be on the mend, imo.

Send him my best wishes.

Found it Kali thanks. Guess what? I had a ? on that line indicating that I wondered about the logic of using the next sign ruler! I'm still to be convinced to its practicality though. Have you found it to work in practice?
