by Deb I can tell you now, even without asking him - Liverpool to win. He supports Liverpool. Liverpool losing does not exist in his reality. I try to factor this in when I work on his results - but this week I am going to be listening especially hard to what the rest of you are saying Quote Tue Oct 21, 2008 12:54 pm
by SusieN I can tell you now, even without asking him - Liverpool to win. He supports Liverpool. Liverpool losing does not exist in his reality. Well, that's no help then.... maybe you could ask him, if a draw would feel like a win to him:-), somehow, I don't think so. Quote Tue Oct 21, 2008 1:30 pm
by Deb Susie, when I see him tonight I'll ask. And when he's finished giving me his 45 minute answer, I'll summarise it in 10 words and put them here. Quote Tue Oct 21, 2008 2:02 pm
by Gem Thanks everyone, I've become a little richer placing money on the draw I agree Newcastle fought well Deb wrote: Steve said he's fed up of me laughing when I tinker with his predictions and get better results than he does. So he said next week I have to come up with all my own score predictions, and then he'll tinker around with a few of those to see if he gets better results than I do Sounds fair enough Quote Tue Oct 21, 2008 3:50 pm
by Ficina Ficina, John - did you go for a draw? No, Susie, I went for 2-1 Man City because you said so! Just kidding I was so confused with the astrology that I finally decided football-wise that Man City ought to win. Scoreline was for 3 planets crossing angles. Agree Newcastle played really well. The second half was very exciting and when they went 2-1 up I thought that was it. 126 by Deb OK, I'm half-way through astro-picking all the results of next w/ends results, all by myself. Hubbie wouldn't tell me what he thought of Chelsea-Liverpool until I told him what I thought. Looking at the chart I think it has to be Chelsea to win, using the principle of the asc=home team. Jupiter rising, Mars on MC and Moon sextile Venus suggests a well fought game and a well deserved victory, so I think that both teams will score and the result will be tight. I've gone for 2-1 for Chelsea. Actually, he also thinks that Chelsea will win - so we agree! He is predicting 2-0 for Chelsea. Quote Tue Oct 21, 2008 7:33 pm
by SusieN OK, I'm half-way through astro-picking all the results of next w/ends results, all by myself. Welcome to the world of trial and tribulation For the Liverpool - Chelsea game, I'm still sitting on the fence, and although it's a bit uncomfortable for the derri?re, the view is lovely:-) I'll wait to see how Liverpool play tonight, and then I'm also waiting to see if Torres makes it back - the cute little lad. I'm astounded that your hubby is so pessimistic for Liverpool, Deb. I think it'll be a stunning game! Quote Wed Oct 22, 2008 7:44 am
by Ficina I've had a look at the Chelsea/Liverpool chart and, from the comments already made, I'm wondering if we're all looking at the same chart. Game takes place 1.30pm GMT on Sunday. Asc is 27,10 Cap. Can I please make a polite request here for people to give the date, time and Asc when they first mention a game? That way we can make sure we're all looking at the same chart and it enables observers to draw up the chart for themselves. Thanks Quote Wed Oct 22, 2008 9:01 am
by SusieN Yep, that's the chart I'm looking at: Asc is at 27 Cap 28, Moon 5 Lib 41. Quote Wed Oct 22, 2008 9:21 am
by Ficina I have Moon at 5,43. MC is 29,46 Scorpio. From what you were saying earlier, Susie, it sounds like you have it in Sag. Co-ords are 51N28, 0W13 for Fulham (virtually the same as for London). Quote Wed Oct 22, 2008 9:33 am
by SusieN Holy Moly I used the London co-ordinates 51N32, 0E5, and my MC is at 0Sag04. I'm definitely staying on my fence... Quote Wed Oct 22, 2008 9:42 am
by Ficina London is a big place! It seems that different software gives different co-ords. SolarFire gives 51N30, 0W10 for London. Chelsea's ground is definitely west of centre, not east. It will be interesting to hear what other people have. Quote Wed Oct 22, 2008 9:50 am
