Deb, I apologize if that I seem to be "Preachy" as you describe.
I have found that among the Astrologers I know of personally, very few place any credance or faith in these Symbols. A great many tried to utilize them and gave up at some point or another.
I find this particular Arabic Part to be most demonstrative of a principle many may be un-aware of [that I believe to be true]. That is, specifically, that these Parts do 'work' symbolically, in attitude or action, except for a few Arabic parts where the reverse is true. That the symbol represents the attitude or action one doesn't want to employ. The Part of Catastrophe is the most significant of this effect, I believe.
I'll ask him again to join this forum, if that's okay, as so far the reponse here has been very good and I admire and praise your membership for their tolerance, professionalism and erudite approach and manner.
