Will we get back together?

1
Hi,
I'm new to horary so interpretation has been confusing. Recently my partner of 6 years and I split up. We are still friends but it feels very strange and surreal that we are separating. We both have been experiencing a lot of fear and anxiety throughout this process. I have hope that we will move through and make needed changes and arrive at a deeper place with each other. My question is Will we get back together - in a relationship? I wake up some mornings in a panic, feeling like this isn't 'right' to be breaking up. It feels more like deep changes (pluto)needed to happen- healing old stuff from childhood-but that didn't necessitate breaking up.

Chart info:

I am using Mars as the querent because Scorpio is on the ascendant. The Moon and pluto are in the 1st house. Mars is in the 10th in an applying conjunction with the Sun and Jupiter. Mars is in a separating sextile to Saturn in the 8th. Venus rules the 7th house cusp, Venus (quesited) is in the 9th house and is in an applying trine to the moon.

Would the placement of Moon in the 1st and stellium of Mars/Sun/Jupiter in the 10th, both angular houses, add to the 'strength' of the answer?

From my amateur interpretation I would venture to say the answer is 'yes' if using traditional rulers and emphasis on the angular houses.

Any other comments/corrections? Thank you!

Hi,
first of all I want to say I'm sorry for your break-up - it's always a shame when these things happen but sometimes a relationship has simply run its course and this has simply to be accepted, as difficult as this might be at the time.
The horary has the end of Scorpio on the ascendant, and one of the'considerations before judgement' states that the last three degrees of a sign rising indicate that the situation has moved past the point where it can be changed or affected by any desired action. Sometimes the querent already knows the answer, or has made a decision but is looking to horary for confirmation or clarification. As an astrologer I would take note of this consideration and then move to interpret the rest of the chart with a degree of caution.
As you say, you - as the querent - are ruled by Mars and your partner by Venus, ruling the 7th. He is also shown by the Sun (natural ruler of men)
The Sun is separating from a conjunction with Mars, showing the recent breakup. The Moon, your co-ruler, is also separating from Venus ( not Venus applying to the Moon, as the faster planet will always be the one making the application)
Mars is still combust the Sun, and this implies that you are still in some ways not seeing this situation clearly because the man is too deeply encased in your thoughts. But the Sun is moving away and will soon be more than 8 degrees from Mars, indicating that within the next 6 weeks or so you will no longer feel quite so "in the thrall" of the situation.
Would the placement of Moon in the 1st and stellium of Mars/Sun/Jupiter in the 10th, both angular houses, add to the 'strength' of the answer?
Yes, angular placements add to the strength of the significators, but not so much as essential dignity, and unfortunately neither Mars nor the Moon have much essential strength
From my amateur interpretation I would venture to say the answer is 'yes' if using traditional rulers and emphasis on the angular houses.
Well, I'm looking for applying aspects between the significators and I don't see any, so I'm afraid it doesn't look as though the two of you will get back together. The angular placements alone are not enough to bring about a reconciliation. There has to be application by aspect, and preferably a reception too, between significators.

I hope this hasn't burst your bubble too sharply. My advice to you, based on this horary, is to do your best to move on.

I?m not sure that this is a particularly good chart for you to judge this matter from, since the ascendant ruler is combust and the ascendant is very late. Both suggest that there is very little you can do now to change the matter you are asking about BTW.

A couple of points on your judgement ? Mars is separating from the Sun, not applying. It is combust and shows you to be feeling overwhelmed, fearful, and in the process of a very deep change for which you are going to need time to recover. (You may feel as if you have been stripped bare and that the prospect of a future without your partner looks empty and bleak ? but the combustion is separating so you are actually over the worst of it, although it may not seem so at this time).

Also, the Moon is separating from the trine of Venus, not applying as you state. This describes the separation of a relationship that has been comforting and friendly ? as you say, you still feel like friends ? but the Moon is moving on to the square of your significator and the Sun, which shows a difficult set of circumstances coming into play. Because there is no application between the main significators (Mars and Venus), the chart appears to point to separation rather than reunion. If the Moon were applying to Venus, then I would have agreed with your judgement.

I?m sorry you are having such a difficult time over this painful situation.

Deb/Pisces thank you both. With the 'combust' rular and the ascendant in the late degrees of Scorpio, would it be better to pull up a new chart? Given this, would you? I'm not familiar with combust and the last degrees of the ascendant as I am still in the beginning stages of learning...

I wasn't aware of Pete's post when I made mine, which is why I seem to be repeating some of his points. I would go along with everything he's said though, and with the way he's brought the considerations into the judgement, so I don't think it would help to draw another chart.

At least give yourself some time to reflect upon what Pete has said.
