13 by MikeCoop Hi with reference to my last post - I guess a Mars latitude transit also showed in its more positive guise. Today saw decisive action on both sides of the Atlantic with the biggest bank bailout yet in the US and the biggest borrowing decision since World War two in the UK!!! As a matter of interest - does anyone else here study latitude transits?? Through testing I'm developing an attitude towards them, but open to others ideas and opinions. mike c Quote Tue Nov 25, 2008 12:03 am
14 by Andrew Bevan I always thought that Jupiter/Neptune was the 'cause' of inflation. But this does interestingly enough seem to be the case of where the bubble burst... As a matter of interest - does anyone else here study latitude transits?? Do you mean declination, Mike? I think much is do be discovered or rediscovered in the question of latitude, i.e. north of south of the ecliptic, but for or all practical means I have found the ecliptic to be the Great Circle of celestial reference, so that all planets, points and stars may be projected along that circle. This simplifies certain issues as to when a planet is located in the rational ascendant. http://www.astronor.com Quote Tue Nov 25, 2008 10:30 am
15 by MikeCoop Do you mean declination, Mike? No I mean north and south of the ecliptic, which seems far more logical to me I've never been convinced by the usage of declination, although no doubt others disagree. I look at planetary crossings by latitude ie one moving north whilst another moves south etc and treat this as a heightened conjunction. Or another dimension of a preexisting aspect pattern which sometimes preempts the timing of those aspects For instance the Russian Beslan school seige of sep 1st - 3rd 2004 where hundreds of children were killed, Mars and Jupiter were closing into conjunction but still separated by 9 degrees, yet at the height of that terrible event Mars and Jupiter crossed by latitude. So we got that hasty an d premature ending of the seige with terrible consequences mike c Quote Wed Nov 26, 2008 1:33 am
