That is an interesting remark, Ficina. You are suggesting that the planets as significators say something about sort of game the teams play, i.e. in example of strategy and tactics.

Personally, I am still reflecting upon Angers beating Metz on Friday - although not many else seem to have been following that game. POF in the degree of the Moon's fall destroyed matters for the favourite. This has lead me to pound upon the hierachy of testimonies. It would seem that the testimony that is most swift moving and at the same time exact and that differenciates one game from another, ie by time or location, is that testimony that bears the greatest weight in the outfall of the game. The question of radicality has the ability to pull the match in one direction and does in this way either fortify or mediate the other indicatins of the chart.

Everton / Villa: Further to what you mentioned, I've noticed NN conjunct MC, so could favour L1, but L1 in detriment behind enemy lines - so I predict a win for Villa.

Re West Brom/Portsmouth
I have also gone for a win for West Brom, mainly based on L10 conj POF. I also considered a draw (radicality by triplicity) but could see no testimonies for Portsmouth.

Re Everton/Villa
I am trying to decide between a Villa win and a draw. As Andrew says, hour ruler is L7 favouring Villa. Also L1 in 7th although I'm not sure if 3? is too wide. For Everton POF is trine MC and there are a couple of minor testimonies - Moon square antiscion L1 and conj antiscion L10.

Difficult to see where the goals are coming from this afternoon with Moon such a long way off from making any aspects, so games may be low-scoring. I could be completely wrong of course

Well done, Andrew and Susie, for getting the Villa result right I went for the draw unfortunately but what a dramatic ending! Everton equalised in the very last minute of added time, then Villa scored the winner in the very, very last half minute - or something like that.

As for WBA/Portsmouth, we had the same L10 conj POF testimony in that Fulham/Arsenal game, if you remember. On that occasion I went for a draw and Fulham won. This time I went for a WBA win - and it was a draw! I could hear those wretched gods laughing at me yet again

I did look at the Norwich/Ipswich game and would also have gone for a draw, Andrew, with such mixed testimonies. A significator and/or hour ruler on 29? seems to be working fairly consistently though and, in this case, outranked a combust significator in terms of negativity.

I'll go for West Ham then. I think, Ficina, that if the chart is radical and the Lord of the Hour holds greater dignities on the descendant than the ascendant (ie radical by same powers as either sign on asc. or its ruler) - then the away team gets it. I am not sure how this works when the sign is not radical. There is a qualitative difference. I would like to get to the core of this. I would personally hold Spurs as favourites, therefore I think non-radicality goes against them.
