by Andrew Bevan This one from Thursday's games Lens - Montipellier 0-2, 20.45 CET Asc 24LE20 MC 10TA02 Moon 7GE43 POF 11AQ53 Played on the Day of Jupiter, Hour of the Sun. Radical. It might seem strange that I am including a retrospect on this match, but I found something interesting. I was expecting the favourites, Lens, to win - considering also that POF was conjunct the Moon's North Node, but it didn't work that way. Montipellier received a red card in the 78th minute, took the lead in the 89th minute and a second goal in the 90th (probably overtime)! The explaination I think lies in the position of POF, who casts its antiscia to the 19th degree of Scorpio, the cursed degree. This messes it up for the favourite. POF is fixed and cadent and the deciders come late in the game 'when all hope is out'. http://www.astronor.com Quote Fri Dec 12, 2008 7:10 am
by Ficina Hi Andrew, I have Asc 10?13' Leo for this chart. If I've got it right, then it looks very similar to West Ham/Spurs chart with South Node conj Asc which Susie pointed out. Interesting that the away team also won that game with the same scoreline. Quote Fri Dec 12, 2008 10:44 am
by Andrew Bevan Thank you, Ficina! I seem to have selected an erronous alternative from my gazetter! Is there enough in the correct chart to predict a 0-2 vivtory to the awayteam? SouthN is almost 2 degrees separate the desc.? Saturn is inconjunct the MC through signs that see eachother (?) but there is no antiscia. The exaltation degree of Saturn, who is L7, is on the cusp of the 4th. Oh well, let's keep monitoring! http://www.astronor.com Quote Fri Dec 12, 2008 6:58 pm
by Ficina Ah, quite a difference then between the mean node (which I presume you are using) and the true node which is at 10?28'. Quote Fri Dec 12, 2008 10:44 pm
by Andrew Bevan Saturday's games: Most of today's matches start at 15.00 GMT, which in most cases will be in the hour of Venus. In many of these locations the Moon's North Node will be on the MC and the Moon at 13LI06 applies to the trine of the Lady of the hour, Venus, who also is her dispositor, and located at 14AQ33 in the 10th house. I am picking out some favourites and going with them. Wolves, Millwall, Hull, Villa, Darlington, Leicester, Scunthorpe and Rushden & Diamond. Let's just see how many of these teams manage to win their games. And a Merry Xmas to everyone! ------------------------------------------------ The 12.45 GMT game between B'ham and Reading ended with a 1-3 victory to Reading. The Moon was L4 and applying by trine to Venus, L7! http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Dec 20, 2008 1:07 pm
by Ficina Last month when we had Moon in Libra and Sun in Sag, there were quite a few surprise results in the Premiership so it will be interesting to see what happens this time. West Ham v Villa, 5.30pm GMT, Asc 20?47' Cancer Villa are faves but not odds-on. Moon is hour ruler so chart is radical but Moon is also L1 and this scenario often produces a draw. However, with L7 partile conj IC I think this will give Villa the edge and I have gone for a win for them. Good luck with your predictions, Andrew. I shall keep an eye on the games you've picked out. 43 by Andrew Bevan What a spectacular amount of goals! Personally, I got nothing out of this. 3 of my teams won, 3 of them played a draw and Hull got a spanking from Sunderland 1-4!! Suprizing that Millwall didn't score against Crewe (who are at the bottom of the table but who seem to sabotage their opponents whenever it pleases them). Scunthorpe seem to be loosing their edge. Leeds, too - but then MK Dons have got some excellent goal-getters so it was no suprize they won that game 3-1. I hope Villa show their colors later this evening. Good luck, Ficina! http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Dec 20, 2008 5:09 pm
by Andrew Bevan Well done, Ficina! You weighed up the Villa game in such a beautiful manner and made everything look easy! Sunday's games: West Brom - ManC, 13.45 GMT Odds: 3,00 3,25 2,30 Asc 16TA43 MC 19CP24 Moon 24LI48 POF 11PI27 The game is played in the Hour of Venus and the chart is radical. My suggestion: ManC win the first game because they are favourites by odds and the chart is radical. Moon, L7, applies to Jupiter in the 10th. Newcastle - Tottenham, 15.00 GMT Odds: 2,30 3,25 3,00 Asc 22GE23 MC 11AQ29 Moon 25LI35 POF 17AR50 The game is played in the hour of Saturn. Radical by triplicity and Mercury, L1, is in mutual reception with Saturn, Lord of Hour. My suggetion: The game ends a draw because the chart is radical by triplicity. Saturn, Lord of Hour, is dispositor of Jupiter, L7. Arsenal - Liverpool, 16.00 GMT Odds: 2,30 3,25 3,00 Asc 3CN05 MC 28 AQ16 Moon 26LI06 POF 29AR00 The game is played in the Hour of Jupiter. The Lord of the hour is exalted in the asc. and receives the sinister square of the Moon. Radical. I haven't made up my mind on this one, yet. The MC is sextile POF. Maybe we can exchange opinions in good time before the matches start! http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Dec 21, 2008 6:14 am
by SusieN Hi Andrew I've gone for a win for M City - L4 is on Spica. I'm leaning towards a draw for the N'Castle game - couldn't see anything overwhelming for either team. Arsenal/Liverpool: At the moment I can't think further than a draw - both teams anyway have this nasty habit of not playing according to my predictions I think I'm going for the goalless draw.... I'm finding these predictions a tough game at the moment..... I think I'm losing my touch Quote Sun Dec 21, 2008 9:55 am
by Ficina Thank you for your kind words, Andrew. It certainly doesn't feel easy and I always breathe a sigh of relief whenever I get something right West Brom/Man City Although chart is radical, hour ruler is L1. Moon sextile L7 may push the game in ManC's direction but Moon aspects to sigs (particularly sextiles) haven't always proved reliable, so I'm going for a draw. Newcastle/Spurs Moon square L7 - same reservations as above and may be cancelled out by L4 conj Pluto anyway. As Andrew has said, radicality by triplicity often produces a draw and I go along with that. Arsenal/Liverpool This is the big game of the day and I agree it's a difficult one to predict. I have yet to make my mind up about radicality by exaltation. Moon applies opp POF which generally means the faves don't win. Again, L4 conj Pluto which may also prevent Liverpool from winning. Yet another draw? Quote Sun Dec 21, 2008 11:25 am
by Andrew Bevan OK, I think we all have made some sense. I'm going on a ManC win and a draw between Newcastle and Spurs. I think you both make good sense regarding a draw in the game between Arsenal and Liverpool. This is my feeling, too, although I am not awfully confident. However, the triplet is worth 24,29:1 so I'm giving it a try. What fun it would be if we picked 3 out of 3 games just before Xmas! Good luck everyone! http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Dec 21, 2008 11:55 am
