The bit about 'the ruler of a house located in the house" is at the top of page 58 in Baldwin transaltion (Section II, Chapter IV).

The bit about one house resolving into the house position of the ruler is at the top of page 65 in the same book (Section II, Chapter V).

you did not heard about it because it is unpublished and it's just for his friends and friends of friends
Bezza published the translation and the comment to the first book of Tetrabiblos in 1992:
Commento al Primo Libro della Tetrabiblos di Claudio Tolemeo: con una nuova traduzione e le interpretazioni dei maggiori commentatori (cura Giuseppe Bezza), 2? ed. (Milano: Nuovi Orizzonti).
It's a must-on for astrologers because the book of 443 pages is not just the translation of the text, but a true course in astrology with quotes from the most important Medieval and Renaissance astrologers.

My favourite chapter is the one about aspects and receptions. A friend of mine, an horary astrologer, took these pages from the book in order to have always with him!

But Giuseppe Bezza is not an astrologer as you have in America like Robert Zoller or Robert Hand, he is Professor of Ancient Astronomy for Navigation at the University so he is more academic oriented, like Charles Burnett, I think.

So he never published the rest of Tetrabiblos, I don't know if he wrote a comment to the other books, I know just the translation.

The Italian complete version of Tetrabiblos (with the Greek text )has been translated by Simonetta Feraboli, but the comment is very small.
Surely she is not an expert of Ptolemy as Bezza, but she is one the most important experts of Greek and Latin stars catalogues.
Her comment to Marcus Manilius - especially the part about paranatellonta- is wonderful. She knows everything about stars from Aratus to Astrolabium Planum!

sorry for answering so late to your last post. I first had to look up the chapters in Morin that you suggested. It took me a while to find them and I am still reading.

Your welcome Jogi. Apologies for the wrong 'chapter' information; I'll try to be more accurate with my references in the future.

I've noticed a strong emphasizing in the sect condition of planets to determine how it acts, favorable or not, after reading this all. So, a planet still have a lot of power to act favorably, even in detriment. That clears a lot of problems, I think.

Now, about Dorotheus trip rulers, I still want to know one thing. The Night/Day ruler should be disregarded or not in a Day/Night chart? How those that uses this system behave when finding a Moon in Capricorn in a day chart? I would say that the fact that it is friendly to the element already points that it should be considered in it's own triplicity, although not ruling, but some of you could disagree.

One thing I find interesting is the there seems to exist a balance between the chaldean order, Dorotheus triplicity and the Exalt system, especially if you take Taurus/Scorpio in consideration ("where Moon (Fortuna) rises, none depress", was it?).

And finishing this digression, it seems a planet in ex conditia and detrimented can be really harmfull, let's say, if angular.
