I started to communicate with a man for the past 2 weeks... it started off nicely, got hot and now cooled off a bit. He likes me, calls me daily to see how I am but I do not know what to make of him - maybe it is because it is too soon... but I feel like I should be looking for better prospects or dating more than to put my eggs in one bucket - then again, what if he is right for me.
My question is "should I pursue this new man?"

I am Jupiter and he is mercury... I see no aspects... but I am an amateur to horary... please advise

Jupiter rising is not really to be expected in a romance question, which makes me question the validity of this chart a bit. Though the Moon is in Libra, which is appropriate.

Most folks here use Regiomontanus, not Placidus (I actually prefer Koch). I would say that the applying square from the Moon to his main sig of Mercury doesn't bode well - that's a "no," essentially, to your question about pursuing this relationship. I also don't like that he has no dignity and is in the detriment of the Moon and fall of Jupiter. This further suggests that he is not good for you.

Your 5th house planet Mars is applying to a conjunction to you though. This could be a different guy. There is also an applying sextile between your main sig of Jupiter and Venus, and Mars and Venus are in that mix here. I think there's probably someone else for you that's much better.

Mercury is in the fall of Jupiter and detriment of the Moon ? perhaps not the best receptions one would like to see at the beginning of a relationship. Mercury is not all that fond of Jupiter (your ruler) and the Moon (your co-ruler). Planets at the end of a sign tend to display what I?d call "panic before closing time" (and the last degrees of terms are always ruled by the malefic planets). He is most likely quite desperate.

In relationship questions Venus belongs to women and Sun to men: both Venus and Sun are in detriment. Not much of a "love story" about that.

Moon is separating from trine to Jupiter (you), after that it goes to trine the Sun and square Mercury, the man. (That happens before the Mars and Venus aspects).
So the Sun comes in between you and this man, but what/who is it?

The Sun rules the 9th house and is placed in the 3rd house (the man?s 9th). Saturn is the ruler of Lord1 and Lord7 and the Moon is in Saturn?s exaltation, Mercury and Saturn are in MR. It looks like Saturn is very important in this chart. It?s retrograde in the 9th house.

Are you going abroad? Is he?
Note the emphasis on the 2nd house and Saturn being Lord2 and Lord3.

Aika, thank you for reading my chart. Now, when you say he is desperate - does that mean he doesn't see me as a catch but is desperate for anything he can get? I think he likes me, sees me as great but too good for him - I find him a bit childish and have been known to be blunt with him yet he hangs around regardless.

Also - I am not going away, I have no plans but could it be someone from abroad who is better than him - someone who will pursue me?
Maybe he will go away (I wouldn't mind if he does)

Sun represent "male" will be trined by Moon - me...as I will square Mercury - the man in question... looks like I will find someone else better maybe and give this man in question the Boot

How about trying event chart or first meeting chart? They are more effective when the Querent has a chance of repeating the horary question on similar kind of issues.


The rules for such event/first meeting charts:

The person initiating the action gets the ascendant. If its a chance meeting then Male gets the ascendant.

It would tell about the course of relationship

First meeting chart is a valid chart unless and untill the couple get physical intimated.

If they get physical intimated than first meeting chart would be supressed and second one would be effective

If they get married than wedding chart would be uppermost and physical intimacy chart would be suppressed.

Hi - it is a differnet man- I was told by someone who read my chart that I will meet someone new - moving on from the other I asked of that month - well, it happened - this new guy took my attention away for a bit.
