by Andrew Bevan Still trying to make some sense out of this. For today I find one game that appears to be clear cut in the Norwegian 1. division: Kongsvinger - Notodden FK, 18.00 CST 60N12 12E00 Odds: 1,72 3,75 4,40 Asc 5SC47 MC 25LE55 Moon 16SG01 POF 4TA04 Mars, L1, sits on the 7th and is conjunct POF. Home team favourites should be safe this time. ------------------------------------------------------- Sogndal - Nybergsund, 18.00 CST 61N14 7E06 Odds: 1,70 3,90 4,25 Asc 2SC12 MC 20LE53 Moon 16SG01 POF 1TA10 In theory Sogndal should win but here, astrologically and contrary to the above game, Venus sits on the cusp of the 7th and is conjunct POF. I include these two games to see whether they perform differently. Same starting time but angles are different. Notice that the underdogs fetch a good price and the the Moon opposes the Sun, L10. I do not have confidence to judge and will be sitting on my hands. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Jun 07, 2009 9:45 am
by taurean Re Kongsvinger - Notodden FK, please correct me if I'm wrong Andrew, I guess Kongsvingeer will play in red shirts while Notodden will be in light blue. In this case, Kongsvinger will be the "Ascendant team" according to the color method as well (not only by being favourite). Mars conjunct POF should be a serious testimony. Question: "Mars, L1, sits on the 7th" - Mars is technically in the 6th house, but being so close to the 7th house cusp means that it can still influence the 7th house, house of Notodden? 15 by Andrew Bevan I guess Kongsvinger will play in red shirts while Notodden will be in light blue. I do believe you are right! Question: "Mars, L1, sits on the 7th" - Mars is technically in the 6th house, but being so close to the 7th house cusp means that it can still influence the 7th house, house of Notodden? I need to check out these things again and again. Ficina has an excellent record of observations on such cases, I believe. In my mind I am seeing L1 as angular and strong, prior to any advantage to the 7th house. I believe L1 on the cusp of the 7th allows the home team to get behind the defensive line of the guest, thus their competitive sting is on edge. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Jun 07, 2009 2:03 pm

by taurean Yes, everything is fine, the Kongsvinger match was suitable even for modest betting. Thx for the confirmation of the colors, Andrew. But, what's the deal with the other match... Again, please help me with the colors! Was Sogndal in white shirts and black trousers, and NIL-Trysil is light blue? Quote Sun Jun 07, 2009 6:39 pm
by Andrew Bevan Chart studies: Two games monitored this evening - Danish 1. div Kolding FC - Lyngby 1-4, 19.00 CST Odds: 2.97 3.51 2.10 Asc 19SC33 MC13VI20 Moon 3AQ59 POF 2CN38 Day Jupiter, Hour Sun Swedish Superettan Jonkoping S. - Mjallby 0-3, 19.00 CST 57N47 14E11 Odds: 3.13 3.30 2.12 Asc 20SC49 MC 18VI25 Moon 3AQ59 POF 3CN55 Day Jupiter, Hour Sun The games are played in seperate countries. POF is opposite Pluto in the one chart, but probably not close enough. Does anyone want to sum up the two charts? http://www.astronor.com Quote Thu Jun 11, 2009 9:13 pm
by Andrew Bevan Perhaps football fixtures are a little bit too much like time tables for trains to bring out the glory of astrology. League fixtures would very much be under the rulership of Mercury, while maybe Cup contests are under more the rulership of the Moon. I find that with charts that are Mercury dominated it is often to take a more rational approach. Anyone want to follow my thought on that one? http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Jun 13, 2009 5:10 pm
by Ficina I find that with charts that are Mercury dominated it is often to take a more rational approach. Perhaps I am missing your point here, but I think our approach to all these games is already very rational. How would it be possible to be more rational? Quote Sun Jun 14, 2009 9:31 am
by Andrew Bevan I am wondering whether games belonging to different type of contests by design should be judged according to different yardsticks. When judging horary charts I find myself determining when things should happen according to the directions of the Moon, however, as I pointed out to Olivia Barclay, when the Moon was in a Mercury ruled sign we were looking into the ephemeris to find out on which date aspects would be perfected instead. I think we might start a seperate thread to discuss these sort of questions. The Premier League matches are very much like checking the time tables for a train. Unless a match gets postphoned, the order of matches or 'fixtures' are very fixed. What happens from when the season starts and until the season is over has very much to do with weighing up and measuring the details of the bridge. At what point or points is there a true contest? Will ManU finish up at the bottom the the table next year? I think not. The FA Cup is more fluctative in design. It is not possible to know in advance who will play who, where and when in the same way as a league is composed. I could imagine that the astrology of the FA Cup was more interesting the the Premier League. There are diffences between games where one team can be defined as the home team, or the defender, in contrast to games that are played on neutral grounds. Then there are the 'Friendlies' (with all their Red Cards) - are these games 'worth' anything? We don't know what sort of team is being sent out onto the pitch anyhow. But then the same can be said about ManU on almost any day. The boys are playing so many matches that Ferguson will take any opportunity to give his first team a rest and let fresh legs have their chance. If I have got it right, the team that MAnU entered into the FA Cup this year was not ManU I but rather ManU II? I am still hassled with the many problems of soccer prediciton. If 20 games start at the same time within a relatively limited area - is the astrology annulled? And then a game starts 15 minutes later and is not? When can I take all thing equal under one comb and say that the favourites will win, or the home team, or everyone plays a draw [which is surely interesting and significant] and when do I get to treat matches as individuals? I still have a thousand questions and virtually 'hate' waiting 90 minutes to see that a game is decided on extra time. But then maybe this truly brings us to the core of life itself, that matters are decided and put together upon the sleight of the hand. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Jun 14, 2009 10:18 am
by Andrew Bevan A good match for testing astrology is on tonight in Iceland: Brei?ablik - Valur Reykjav?k, 20.00 GMT Kopavogur 64N06 21W50 Odds: 2,65 3,20 2,35 Asc 21SC59 MC 2LI37 Moon 23PI45 POF 20LE54 Day Moon Hour Jupiter. It is an open match. Mercury in the 7th house is trine the MC. Venus L7 casts her antiscia to POF. Valur should prevail. http://www.astronor.com Quote Mon Jun 15, 2009 9:24 am
by Ficina Perhaps more a case of testing these particular testimonies than astrology per se? I agree it looks good for Valur so they should probably win. My only slight concern is that they are the away team and only marginal favourites. Quote Mon Jun 15, 2009 3:24 pm
by Andrew Bevan Well, either te fortune Venus casts her antiscia to POF and the favourites win, or L7 - who is Venus - casts her antiscia to POF and the away team gets it. If astrology can't pick this one, I am not sure where we stand. http://www.astronor.com Quote Mon Jun 15, 2009 3:39 pm
