Will The Novel Be Published -- We have an Answer 1 by Cornelia [Re- the thread at http://skyscript.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4445] An offer was made by a major publisher today. The money is in line with Saturn in the 2nd, more negotiations are in store but it looks likely publication will ensue. So take your pick. The correct reading came from using Koch houses or Regiomontanus using The 5th as the significator for the novel as Leo-poet suggested. And yes, the author will be doing a lot of work (SATURN) because it is a multi-book deal. Quote Tue Jun 16, 2009 5:11 pm
2 by aglaya Oh, lovely, thanks for the update. I've been strugling with a chart cast for the question "Will my articles be published ?" lately and this chart sure does help a lot especially since there's TOL without reception in the chart I have as well! Quote Wed Jun 17, 2009 10:04 pm
Fabulous!! 3 by Leo-Poet Congratulations to the author!! Yay! What wonderful news! And congratulations to Cornelia, the astrologer, for her inquisitive instincts, that allowed her to stick with her chart to get to the correct answer. From the bottom of my heart, I can say how amazing it must feel for anyone to get somewhere with one's creative endeavors. It's such an affirmation. 5 by Cornelia The deal is finally public and I can discuss it. The novel that was the subject of the horary is a novel with a heroine who uses traditional astrology. A horary reading with confused houses actually plays a part in the story. It's the first in a series of Historical Romances with an astrological theme. The characters have real charts. The astrology used is a mix of traditional and modern techniques, with the modern thrown in mostly so the readership who have a bit of astrological knowledge aren't completely at sea. The astrology takes a back seat to the romance, since that is what you have to do to sell a book. but readers who read this book who have no interest in astrology have reported that reading it made them understand why you'd want to get a reading. This is going to be interesting. Quote Wed Jun 24, 2009 7:36 pm
