After a long wait and much deliberation I am booking a flight to go back to my home country - of course, a return ticket to come back in a month. But given the pressures at home (a pressure to get married, my own dismal finances, lack of job opportunities, many more), am not sure I will be able to come back. So am asking the question - Will I be able to come back (to find a job here - implicit)?

I am going in a defeated mind set, as I came here in hopes of building a career and tried my best. But honestly, I am not even sure what will prove good to me.

I read some where I should take 4H as my home or what I consider as home. So I think for this Q, I must look at both 7H (4H from 4H) and 9H for long distance travel, am I right?

to look at the chart, at first glance:
Venus is chart ruler, it is in 8H - these days my significator is ending up in 8H in almost all the charts.

Just shows my state of mind I guess - not able to get job, in unproductive relation - can neither get out nor take a step forward, unpaid loans, undecided about future, rather depressed.

Venus is moving away from Mars - Mars rules finances - a little better in fact for couple of weeks. But Mars also signifies my move, being 7L (4H from 4H).

Moon is exalted in Pisces - not sure how it helps. Moon is perfecting a square to Venus, my significator and seperating from a square to Mars. Should I read it as its working to my disadvantage either way?

Only other aspect of Mars is, another square to Jupiter - ruling my 3H and my 5H. I am not sure what it signifies thou - no link to my question.

9L is Mercury in 9H, combust but in Moon's terms - does that mean I will be able to come back if I want to?

There are no direct aspects between any of the significators. Am I right in asking such question?

With the ruler of your asc Venus conj POF in Gemini (rules parts of South England?) I'd say that is where you'd be happy. Moon (in fortunate 5th) ruler of 10th applies square to Venus which shows you returning although it will be a challenge. The antiscia of Venus and POF conj your 10th house and Sun is moving toward a conj. Much activity coming in your career it looks like. With movable signs on the angles there is a lot going on and changes coming.

You may be right about changes in career. I am in a very short temp job and took the ticket estimating end of project but looks it might get extended for a week. I can as well post pone the ticket back home, which I am planning to do but some change there for sure.

Do you not consider 9L for for long distance travel? Or should I take this as move or shifting home? I am a little confused which becomes significator for my question (of course, apart from Venus which is my significator).

Hi, mscool! I'll skip this one, first of all, I've spent too much time analysing this date in a SR chart that I can't see anything clearly any more and, second of all , apparently we're experiencing some very similar stages in life and I can't say I've really had much luck reading my charts concerning similar issues but I'm trying to figure them out without help at the moment.

I only wanted to say that I've been advised to always examine the 1st/7th axes in charts cast upon relocation questions (movement). Of course, since, in this case, the potential relocation would actually be TO your home( home town, home land etc.) and back to your parents home in general, I'd say the 4th house should be examined just as well.
As for the 9th, I guess it is the right house to examine as long as you don't intend to stay there in terms of starting a new life (even temporary). The 9th should be describing journeys, longer trips to distant places , not the places where we intend to stay very long, move to or set up a new base in.

Just some suggestions, anyway!

Hi there! From the wording of your question I would use 4th as your current home in the UK and 7th as the country you are traveling to.

You are venus in the 8th, anxious, disposited by and in terms of mercury.. your worries.. which is combust in the 9th.. so worries about long distance travel are unfounded.

Venus is also in the triplicity of saturn, Lord of 4th, present home, another reason to use 4th as present location since this is the one you like!

Looking at L7, mars in detriment is at 29 taurus, permanent ending, diposited by venus, you, so under your control and not as strong as you think. So I think that this trip will result in you leaving behind your native country for good.

Another pointer could be, JupiterRx in the 4th,is L3 ie returning to present neighbourhood?

I have to strongly disagree with 4th showing her present home. 4th signifies parents, real estate, etc. and would symbolize the home she is going to. 7th is her home in England.

Venus is in Saturn's fall and maybe the reason misscool is resisting making it a permanent stay even though she has strong ties there.

I'm in agreement with you that the chart shows misscool returning to England but telling it a bit differently.

Last degree of taurus is a permanent ending.. there is no moving on after that. It's the end of the line, as it were. So I wouldn't be looking at what that planet is doing after that degree. (I use the same rule for 29 pisces. 29 degrees of other signs are not so permanent, imo, but they also represent endings).

The querent seems to feel "at home" in the UK. I also see her at home in the UK through triplicity, that's why 4th for current home makes sense to me. I admit I am sticking my neck out here, because the more ususal choice of 4th for native county (and forefathers etc) would mean she is definitely not returning to the UK, imo.

Yes saturn is in venus' detriment.. querent is having a hard time getting a job here..but it's also in her 11th.. her hopes and wishes.. where she wishes to be..

If we reverse the significators, I do not see her returning to the UK.

I guess that it's the L1 (1st/7th axes, actually) that should be examined first as they could give a good insight into the possible movement.

As for the 4th, I'm with kali on this as the Querent is not buying a house or moving to a new place but rather asking about the possibility of staying where she is as opposed to going BACK to where she originates from! I've seen it in my charts plus, in the SR chart for the year when the same thing happened top me after spending 1o years abroad ( I did have to stay in my hometown in the end) there was a stellium of planets on my 4th cusp including my SR Asc ruler. The reasons for staying were pretty much the same as those in the case of mscool. Where I moved to was my homeland and my hometown but by the time I have had to move, i'd already embraced the "other place" as mine and, though i was actually going back home sort of speaking- I felt (and still do feel) pretty much as though being ripped from the root. I had to leave my rented flat and my low and irregular incomes but I also had to leave my friends, habits and familiar places. I've spent the last two years dreaming about those places every single night and wanting to go back there. I've actually spent the last two years being homesick. But the truth is- the SR chart was suggesting that I'd move ( or be moved ) TO the 4th house i.e. to where I once came from regardless of the fact that it had not been my home for quite some time. But the 4th is a family home, and a home established by the family that we come from so, though moving from one house to another should probably be examined differently, and though moving from one home to another does put the 4th into the picture as the astrological house representing the place where the Querent lives at the moment and intends to leave, i'm very inclined to believe that in a question of this nature the things should be examined a bit differently. It's my impression after analysing a few of my charts though my knowledge in horary is still shaky.

I made an interesting observation working with your chart. Up until two weeks ago debilitated Mars was trining Saturn. In a couple weeks Mars will be making a square with Saturn. Money might get tight again. Take care.

Darn, those are the last two planets I'd want watching over my money.

The pressure may not be strong - but given unpredictability in job market I am myself not able to decide if I am better off in India or England. I just started a temp job and hoping it opens some other opportunities here. But then the market is so bad, I am doing some thing much much lesser than my calibre or what I was doing back in India.

Struggled so much - it just looks like high hopes, but reality hits hard
