This is confusing, but here is an attempt from me.

For these moving home questions, I take the first house as the current home (where your physical body is), and the 7th house as the home you are going to (as it rivals the first home).

So Lord 1 Venus is English home.

Lord 7 Mars is Indian Home.

Lord 9 Mercury is the trip. Mercury is combust, I suppose because you are questioning the trip.

The Moon is you, it is applying square to Lord 1 Venus, England, and the square perfects in 2?. Venus receives the moon by exaltation. So I would say you will return to England after your trip, because you really want to (I think this reads that you exalt England), though it is a square it may be difficult in some way.
I am still looking at the chart but I cant see that there is any block to that aspect occurring yet. (It may be worth looking at antiscion to see if anything is hidden)

Lord 7 Mars, the Indian Home, is in detriment. In the last degree of Taurus, you, the moon receive it by dignity. Being in the last degree makes me see a change, and it makes me think you will enjoy your trip to your homeland, but it will be a short stay. As there is no aspect I wonder if you even go? There would be a separating aspect which may coincide with your original move to England.

The other reason that I think you will go back is because the north node is in the 4th house of home. And its in the 2nd sign of that house, which to me looks like you will return to England a 2nd time. The dispositor of the node is Saturn, which is in turn disposited by Mercury, Lord 9 (long distance travel). ? Im not sure about the 4th house in this, it may indicate you returning to see ancestoral family which seems to be a good thing.

I hope someone more experienced than me will look at what Ive written and see if it makes sense.

I may have found some help from Lilly. In a question such as "should I move?" Lilly says that... "if Moon separates from a fortunate planet and applies to a malefic, the querent should stay."

In your case Moon separates from the malefic Mars and applies to Venus meaning to leave. The idea is to move away from Mars. That's a strong case for moving from England. But I wonder if Moon moving from Mars shows you moving away from a bad relationship? Did a relationship just end for you?

A strong case for staying in England is 8th house Taurus is ruled by Venus and Venus is in her house and she is strong. Moon from 10th house of career is applying to Venus in her house. You will stay where you are is what it says to me.

4th house is most definitely your homeland. Capricorn rules India. Now I understand the nodes on the 4th and 10th cusp. That might show the struggle you feel between your homeland's traditions (north node) and career, worldly ambitions (south node). I have the same aspect and constantly feel torn between home and having a career.

I guess north node in the 4th means south node is in the 10th, so maybe it will be challenging getting the job in England, like you suspect. I dont know.

This horary is hard because its two questions in 1. Perhaps later on you could ask a career question separately later on.

It sure is hard, I really do sympathize with mscool, such things are extremely hard; they smell of failure and usually make a person feel completely powerless. The other side of the medal always offers a new start, even a wake up call but leaving everything you've chosen to surround you in life behind is so, soo hard. And to know that it is all only because of the (b*oody) money too sad.

I made an interesting observation working with your chart. Up until two weeks ago debilitated Mars was trining Saturn. In a couple weeks Mars will be making a square with Saturn. Money might get tight again. Take care.

Anyhow, did you take Saturn as in general malefic applying a square to my finances? How is that linked, it rules 4H and 5H here in this chart. I am sorry, I am little confused looking at so many different ways of reading the same chart.

I ended one relationship in Jan, and I do not know where exactly I stand today - I think I am trying to rebuild it - if at all broken hearts or relations can be mended. Feeling more and more detached and depressed. In fact, that may be the reason for my significator ending up in 8H - am yet to get over all the trauma.

Horary is really strange - this may be linked to my question. Even though I am going home to visit my family, struggle is still going on about visiting this person I once loved so much. It may just be showing I will go and visit my family but not him.

This is an interesting thread. I?ve been looking at some ?international relocation horaries? myself lately and encountering some of the same perplexing issues. I?d like to have a go at this one.

I would say it?s best to treat the relocation issue and the returning-to-England issue as two separate questions. It is possible to use the same chart for two different questions asked at the same. However, you have to read the chart for each question in turn, and not mix up the significators or the delineations. That way you get the clearest answer to each question.

For one question, we treat the trip to India as a ?stay or go? issue of moving house. For the other question, we treat the trip to India as a journey from which mscool hopes to return.

To answer the ?stay or go? question, we look at the first house versus the seventh house--which everyone has already covered well, I think. I agree, btw, with those who think that Lord 4 represents the ?homeland? (India) with respect to this question.

To answer the ?will I return? question, we can use Lilly?s rules for determining whether a traveler will return from his trip, on pages 424-425 of Christian Astrology (btw, I am just becoming familiar with this set of rules, and not claiming to be an expert). He gives a long list of factors that indicate whether a traveler will return quickly or slowly, with ease or with difficulty. In journey questions, one does take Lord 9 into account. Lilly mentions several factors that indicate swift return; if the Moon and Lord 9 are in cardinal signs, swift, and angular, then the return journey happens easily, particularly if Lord 9 applies to Lord 1 or vice versa. In this chart, Lord 9 Mercury is cardinal and swift but the Moon is common and slow; neither is angular. Moreover, Mercury is entering combustion. So, I think we can conclude that a swift, easy return is not likely, and it may even look for a while as if a return is not possible at all. Moreover, neither Lord 9 nor Lord 1 applies to the other. However, the Moon does translateVenus to Mercury--which meets one of Lilly?s criteria for indicating the return from a journey.

So, I would agree with kali?s initial post on the topic, that a return is possible but not easy or straightforward. Since the Moon is Lord 10, the ability to return may be dependent on a potential job change; that possibility has already been discussed.

This is a chart you can learn a lot from. You may want to keep a little diary of dates and times of events and later see how they played out in your chart. There are many aspects culminating.
