by taurean A few thoughts about Norway-Scotland, today at 19:00. I suppose the venue is Oslo, and in this case asc is at 28SG43. - just like in case of the Coventry match, if this game begins a few minutes later, the asc changes sign and goes into CP. - Pluto is quite close to the asc, but with delay, it gets even closer. Does it mean that the game represented by the asc will lose - I don't think so, not necessarily, but there may problems, injury, sending off, etc. - L7 Mercury is close to POF, 0?29 - at 19:00 - but the aspect is separating, not to mention that if the asc changes sign, Mercury won't be L7 any more but the Moon. - a delay of 5 minutes is typical. In this case the asc is around 29SG51. Andrew said that something can happen when the asc changes sign. It might even mean a quick goal! Quote Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:24 am
by Andrew Bevan Norway - Scotland, World Cup Qualifications Odds: 1,95 3,35 3,80 Day Mercury, Hour Jupiter - radical The Sun casts his antiscia to the IC. The question is whether this is good for the guests or favourites by odds. Radicality benefits or often saves the favourites, but for Norway this game is either win or goodbye to the possibilities of World Cup advancement. Drillo, Norway's legendary coach, has NEVER lost a match at Ulleval Stadion maybe with exception of a friendly against Czechoslovakia in 1991. Many Norwegian players have the benefit of match training, since this national comes in the middle of the Norwegian football season. Scottish players are off-season. Mercury, L7, is conjunct POF as Taurian pointed out. Whether Mercury could transmit benefits to the favourites, since Mercury is in his own sign I do not know. (I always allow a planet in its own sign a Solar dignity. A planet in its own sign is sat on a throne). However, I fear that Scotland could win this match - and that could be the unhappy end to Drillo's comeback as national coach and puncture his reputation as a national hero. http://www.astronor.com Quote Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:59 am
by Andrew Bevan The Moon in Taurus is opposite Scorpio and could be to the detriment of Norway. The Moon, however, is exalted for the Joy of Scotland. I am not putting money on Norway tonight! http://www.astronor.com Quote Wed Aug 12, 2009 3:05 pm
by Andrew Bevan TAAAUUURIAAANNN! - Pluto is quite close to the asc, but with delay, it gets even closer. Does it mean that the game represented by the asc will lose - I don't think so, not necessarily, but there may problems, injury, sending off, etc. Scotland got a Red Card ater 33 minutes of play resulting in a free kick just outside the penalty area. Norway 1 goal up by Riise! Half-time: Norway 2 - 0 Scotland Whaddayaknow! We had a violent rain and a thunderstorm just as the match was to start. We live a 20 minute drive south of the stadion. Telephone connection and television signals were disconnected for a while, but the storm just past sout of Oslo and I don't think they felt a spot. Elsewise the match WOULD have been delayed, too. http://www.astronor.com Quote Wed Aug 12, 2009 6:04 pm
by Andrew Bevan Norway - Scotland 4-0 ! I wouldn't have believed that in advance. The 3rd goal was spectacular. Carew hit the post. The ball bonced along the line before it came of the opposite post. Huseklepp met the return and put the ball in the net. Then Carew scored. No doubt about it -the Scottisch goalie went into the net and fetched the ball out again. The linesman never saw the ball cross and the goal was disallowed. The 4rth goal by Gamst Pedersen came off a free kick and was a perfect banana kick, over the scottish defense wall and in to the right hand corner. http://www.astronor.com Quote Wed Aug 12, 2009 6:56 pm
by taurean A nice victory for Norway. What a strange group, the Netherlands has won 7 from 7 matches, the other 4 teams are fighting for the 2. place in the group, the point difference between the 2. and 5. is 3. I regularly write my theories about the who-is-who question, but now I can't. I checked the colors, both teams are good for Gemini (if there was no delay, one of them is Gemini) as they were 2 colors respectively: red-white Norway and white-dark blue Scotland. Mercury conjunct POF was probably a testimony, in this case most certainly Norway was represented by this planet, but I insist that Scotland could have been Gemini as well. So this match really wasn't for betting! Quote Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:02 pm
by Andrew Bevan Premiership: Everton - Arsenal, 17.30 BST Odds: 3,10 3,15 2,30 Asc 24SG42 MC 14SC36 Moon 17GE34 POF 19LI18 Day Saturn, Hour Mars - shares powers with asc, in triplicity with L7 Mars, L10, is Lord of hour and is on the 7th. Mars receives the sextile of the Sun. This should do it for Arsenal, but the chart does show inconsistency. Since Mars in an infortune, this could help the underdog and radicality by triplicity may share things around and bring a draw. So the outfall is not really all that clear. The Moon applies to Mercury, L7, by square. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Aug 15, 2009 2:34 pm
by Ficina I agree it's not terribly clear. Moon trine POF within 1? favours Arsenal. Mars L10 conj Desc, partile but separating, I guess favours Everton. With hour ruler and Asc ruler in same triplicity, I would suggest a draw. (I've used Goodison Park co-ords so POF and angle degrees are slightly different.) Quote Sat Aug 15, 2009 3:16 pm
by Andrew Bevan Everton-Arsenal 1-6 !! There is nothing half-way about that! The interesting thing is the collection of virtues on Mars and the way that radicality is proven. However, a 1-6 result is 'not radical' in terms of speaking. Maybe this is the opposition stretching things once the balance is cast. Mars may have been power by the Sun, too. I have Arsenal down as Aries, Leo. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Aug 15, 2009 6:40 pm
by Ficina Blimey! Planets conjunct Desc are still proving inconsistent then. Mars conj Desc obviously favoured Arsenal on this occasion. Quote Sat Aug 15, 2009 7:03 pm
by Andrew Bevan I have to add that Mars is in a double-bodied sign, and so is the Moon who applies by sinister square to her dispositor, Mercury, who is L7, and exalted in his own sign. Maybe the double-bodied sign of Gemini means that a 1-3 victory to Arsenal in this case got turned into a 1-6 happening. The Moon also has virtue in the 7th since Cancer is intercepted. I still unsure whether the number og goals can be predicted, or how to set about the problem. In this case it might be noteworthy that there at 6 degrees from the Moon to Mars, who is L10 and LHr. Jupiter, L1, is within two degrees of the opposition of the Sun - so in Everton's case they were pulverized. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Aug 16, 2009 5:50 am
by Andrew Bevan ManU - B'ham, 13.30 BST Odds: 1,18 6,50 14,00 Asc 11SC18 MC 28LE12 Moon 29GE34 VOC, POF 17VI05 Day Sun, Hour Mars - radical by rulership An interesting chart with similarities to yesterday's match between Everton and Arsenal. Today Mars is again Lord of the Hour but proves the chart radical by rulership of the descendent. Mars, L1 + LHr, reiceves the sextile of the Sun, L10. The Moon is still in Gemini with Mars, but this time 5 degrees separate. Hopefully, ManU will not beat B'ham 5-0. The odds for ManU winning 5-0 are 22:1. In comparison, if B'ham beat ManU 0-1, then the odds are 28:1. With a 1-2 result the price is 36:1. Tottenham - Liverpool, 16.00 BST Odds: 2,90 3,25 2,35 ASc 10SG56 MC 10LI54 Moon 1CN50 POF 18LI07 Day Sun, Hour Venus - same powers as Jupiter Jupiter, L1, is relieved, having separated 2 degrees from the opposition of the Sun. The Moon is in the same sign as Venus, L10 + LHr, but makes no applications and is feral. Mercury, L7, casts his antiscia to the IC - but both Jupiter and Mercury are cadent. Mars, L4, is in an angular house and enforced by the aspect of the Sun. I have a score draw-feeling... http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Aug 16, 2009 8:53 am
