by Ficina Over the past week I've noted that the favourite wins when the Moon is applying sextile or trine the MC within 1??. If it's 2? or more, it doesn't seem to work, apart from one occasion when the race started 4 minutes late. The 8.45 race at Wolverhampton this evening has Moon sextile MC. Will have to wait until nearer the start time to find out who the favourite is. 4.15 at Newmarket the Moon is trine MC. It is partile but separating so I'm thinking this is probably no good. For observation only! A couple of other things: North Node conjunct Asc - favourite wins. Pluto conjunct Asc - favourite loses. Partile and applying only. Quote Sat Oct 03, 2009 2:25 pm

by Goca According to John Addey's method when 5 house cusp make 1st aspect with Su, that also means favorite wins! Nice example to test this we have on horse race at 5 Oct at 16:10 in Pantefract! According to site http://www.attheraces.com in this race favorite is Star Links. Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ Quote Sat Oct 03, 2009 4:06 pm
by Ficina There were 8 races at Wolverhampton last night and the favourite only won one of them! Unfortunately it wasn't the 8.45 race Quote Sun Oct 04, 2009 8:30 am
by Ficina Hi Goca, I've had a look at the chart for your 4.10 Pontefract race and see NN conj Asc, partile but separating, so it will be interesting to see how that turns out. According to the early prices, the current favourites are All About You and Roar of Applause. We will have to wait and see where the money is going nearer the start of the race. 67 by Goca It is really strange, according to this site http://www.racingpost.com/horses/racing ... 2009-10-05 Star Links is also favorite! I go for Star Links because jockey's colors kit fit with Su(red) in Li(green). Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ Quote Mon Oct 05, 2009 12:41 pm
by Ficina Yes, that's a betting forecast - just a guesstimate. If you look here, you can see where the money is going http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing ... ract/16:10 It changes all the time, right up to the moment the race starts so you never know, Star Links may end up being favourite if people put their money on it. 69 by Ficina The favourites have been doing very badly today, with only 3 having won so far across all meetings. Not so surprising with Moon being VOC. Perhaps Star Links will be better off not being favourite! Looks like Roar Of Applause is the clear favourite with the race about to start. Quote Mon Oct 05, 2009 3:09 pm
by Goca Results of this race 1st (5) Bea Menace 8/1 2nd (1) Roar of Applause 11/8 Fav Neighter VOC "method" nor JAddey's method (about 1st aspect with Su) did not work! Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ Quote Mon Oct 05, 2009 3:28 pm
by Ficina What is the VOC 'method'? I wouldn't expect the favourites to do well when Moon is VOC, especially when it is right at the end of a sign, as it is today. Not that I've made a study of it because it's so difficult to generalise. With so many races every day, it's impossible that all the favourites will lose. Still only 3 winners today though, after 17 races! Make that 3 out of 20! Well below the norm of 30%. Last edited by Ficina on Mon Oct 05, 2009 4:37 pm, edited 1 time in total. 72 by Goca What is the VOC 'method'] You know that from football, when Moon is VOC , nothing new will happen i.e. favorite will win or draw. Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ Quote Mon Oct 05, 2009 4:37 pm
