And the cusp even hits (with an aspect) the antiscion of Venus at 14PI17, before hitting Venus itself (herself). :)

But the winner... Did you see it coming? Silk gallery... The blue is OK, but where does the gray come from? As for the name, is silk good for Venus? Maybe...

It ain't easy, that's for sure. I had no time to look at today's racing but belated congrats on your winner yesterday.
Malaproprism won..but it was the fav anyway.
The faves don't always win and it was a decent enough price for a favourite. The main thing is you picked it out and it won :'

Yes, and I hope PA won't give it up. :) I did some research online, about other methods. One guy was using the weight of the horses  I won't do that. :) This guy shortly mentioned a method in which one combines the 5th cusp, the ruler of the 5th house, planets in the 5th house, with the MC, the ruler of the 10th, planets in it. Actually I was trying to do this (when I said I thought the MC was very important) and it gave a little bit better results than the Addey method alone. But still far from sufficient! So, what Ficina said - use the angles and the Moon - is the way to go for me.

One question though, Ficina, if you don't mind. What if we have a close aspect between planets. (Without angles being involved.) Like yesterday, during many races, we had a trine between Jupiter and Venus. Should you consider this when predicting? Especially when one of the planet is somehow a significator, like Jupiter, and you expect a horse with appropriate name or colors, but isn't there some Venus "influence" in this case? At the moment I have a feeling that these aspects should be considered. But it's only a feeling. :)

Yes, definitely, and if the Moon is picking them up, even better. I would try and find names incorporating both planets, e.g. Spiritual Art. I don't use colours so much but I guess they would work on the same principle.
