Significators in the 6th house 1 by Debra I asked a question: will I get the museum account? Asked Nov. 29, 2004 at 3:20 p.m. EST in Brighton, MA, USA. Okay, so the subject isn't about sex. Don't hold that against me. ('') I went back to look at this chart because the museum folks just got in touch with me again, to invite me to some event they are having, and to string me along. Taurus rising with venus in 9 degrees of scorpio in the 6th house. (ouch) Moon is in 10 degrees cancer in the 2nd house. 7th house is ruled by Scorpio and Mars is in 12 degrees scorpio in the 6th. With the moon happy in cancer leaving a trine with venus and moving into a trine with mars, and mars being happy in sorpio and in the 6th, I guess the only negative I see here is me represented by venus in scorpio in the 6th. Isn't this a translation of light, or am I incorrect in my understanding, or lack thereof? Wouldn't that be something positive? But in the 6th house? Does the fact that both venus and mars are in the 6th add to a negative interpretation? What is my role (venus) in all this? And the moon is leaving that trine with Venus. Is this a negative as I suspect? Right now the account belongs to a rival. I've met with the CFO and she and I got along famously, but the decision rests in the hands of the board. The last time I got in touch with the CFO she asked me to contact her again the end of Jauary because so much was going on. They are in a state of flux, with board members leaving and new ones coming on. What I'm seeing is with the moon leaving venus (me) but going towards mars, the ball is in their court for sure, I think. And I as venus am in a detrimental position. My second house is ruled by Gem and mercury is in the 8th house, so I guess their money is in my rival's hands, which it is, and I do want it, but mercury isn't making any aspects. Jupiter rules the 8th house and it is also in the 6th, with the moon about to perfect a square, after it trines mars. But the sun is in the 7th house and about to sextile jupiter, and the sun is ruling the 4th house. My business and its money (10th and 11th) are both ruled by Saturn who is in the third at 26 Cancer and on the 4th cusp which is 0 Leo. I see Saturn straining to get into the 4th house and into a new sign, the sun sign. What change does this portend? I realize the 6th house makes this whole thing drag on, and it is, since this is now a new year, but I was wondering if anyone could give me a bit more insight. My read is that this whole thing could take forever, but is there a light at the end for me, or is this something to walk away from? I am very unhappy with venus being in the 6th house, but I don't think I know enough to really understand what more the 6th house means in this chart, other than a big negative. And if this is a negative chart, I'd rather know for sure and stop wasting my time when I could be going after more lucrative ventures. Any input welcome. Debra Quote Thu Jan 27, 2005 12:03 am
2 by Sue Hi Debra, I'm not exactly clear on your use of significators. Is this question about a 'fight' between you and the current holders of the account and you are challenging them for the account? Or is it that the account has been declared open and you are applying to take it? Or neither of these perhaps? I am just wondering why you used the 7th house rather than the 10th house. Your significator in the 6th may suggest a lot of hard work for very little reward. It might not prevent you from getting the account but the rewards might not be worth it. 3 by Debra Hi Sue, Sorry for the confusion. It is a large endowment that is being held mostly at a bank right now, and also another part of their money is with another manager, but not being invested. I approached them with a proposal that they liked. My proposal shows a better way to manage the money, yet is still conservative with a higher reward for very little risk. I used the 7th because that is what I thought I should use, since they are potential clients. Would the 10th have been better? Debra Quote Thu Jan 27, 2005 1:00 am
