Will E. and I have sex?

Question asked: 1/26/2005 7:42 am, Brooklyn, NY (kings cty)
15 deg 39 min Aquarius ASC

I'm not sure of the answer so I am going to just write out everything that I've analyzed; please let me know what you think.

With Aquarius rising, I am Saturn, and co-ruled by Uranus in the first house. She is the Sun, co-ruled by Moon in the seventh. Saturn and the Sun are not aspecting each other and are in inconjunct signs. The Sun is disposited by Saturn.

The Moon in the seventh is appropriate as it is a relationship questions. Neptune rising may be appropriate because I am confused and cannot see the future ;)

The last aspect the Moon made was an opposition to Neptune, which accounts for confusion last night about where we are going. It is then going to sextile Jupiter (in the 8th house of sexual intimacy), and then trine Mars and Pluto before leaving its sign. Mars and Pluto are sex planets and a trine certainly looks good.

For what it's worth, the Moon is a degree applying toward opposition to my natal Moon.

Saturn (me) is making hard aspects to Mercury, Venus and Jupiter. The Sun (her) is conjunct Neptune.

I don't know what to make of the house placements (Saturn in 6, Sun in 12), besides that they are "bad" houses.

An additional piece of context is that the 5 Leo full moon yesterday was in my 12th, exactly square my 9th house Saturn in Taurus and 3rd house Jupiter in Scorpio.

Thanks.

I've been waiting for this one... :D

If you are only interested in sex with this person, I think you should be looking for contacts between Saturn and ruler of the 5th and Moon and ruler of the 5th.

If you had asked the question "Will I have a relationship with E", then it would make sense to go to the ruler of the 7th.

I don't think the 8th house comes into consideration here, unless one of the significators are posited there. Traditionally, ruler of the 8th has nothing to do with sex.

Good luck!

Hate to disappoint you but that doesn't look good at all. I don't have the chart before me, but oppositions usually indicate "No" unless there is very strong mutual reception between the planets, and the planets themselves are strongly placed. I think you mentioned that Saturn was in the 12th or the 6th? That's not good, and I think Saturn is in a pretty bad state anyway (not sure, don't have the chart...).

Also, you need to check if the opposition is applying or separating. Applying: about to happen; separating: already happened.

Also check what the Moon is going to aspect next; maybe there will be some good news on that front....

You never know..... :)

Hi Pisces,
first of all I think I should point out that the Moon is your co-ruler, not hers. In horary questions the Moon always co-rules the querent, unless it rules the house of the quesited, which it doesn't in this case. The primary rulers here are the Sun for her and Saturn for you. We could take Venus for her too, as Lilly advocates thatVenus is a natural ruler of women.
Well, modern astrology might assign Mars and Pluto to be "sex planets" but I certainly wouldn't say so. Venus has to do with intimacy, in my opinion, so I would be looking at what Venus is doing, as well as Mercury, since Mercury rules the 5th house of sexual pleasure, as Taurus 7 so rightly points out (well spotted, T ;) )
There is a mixed reception between Venus (her) and Saturn (you), which indicates a modicum of interest in each other, but Venus is applying to an opposition of Saturn, which usually indicates a separative tendency. Mercury - ruling the 5th - has just left the opposition of Saturn, but notice that neither the Sun nor Venus is involved so she doesn't seem to be involved in what that previous opposition represents.
The Sun (her) is conjunct Neptune.
Yes, and it's right on the cusp of the ascendant. Someone is usually being fooled when Neptune is around, and with all the 12th house emphasis, there could be an element of self-undoing here, which often happens when matters aren't straight-forward or out in the open. Why are yours and her primary significators in each other's 12th house, I wonder?
I don't know what to make of the house placements (Saturn in 6, Sun in 12), besides that they are "bad" houses.

They're not necessarily bad; it depends on the question and whether these two houses are relevant. In questions about sex, though, these two houses imply an element of secrecy and clandestine behaviour, which is always problematical.
I'd say that given the number of cadent planets here, the lack of dignity of the two sigs, the applying opposition between Venus and Saturn, and the fact that the hour-ruler, Mercury, has no affinity with the ascendant the answer is likely to be no, or at the very best, "possibly, but you might wish you hadn't".
Sorry to be such a party-pooper, but as T7 will tell you, I can be pretty heartless in my judgements...
Cheers,

Thank you, Sir Peter, thank you so much. I am but a student, an apprentice, a mere novice, a nobody, compared to you. I can only hope to learn from the wisdom of your judgements. Thank you so much for the encouragement.

I wonder, I wonder as well.

Spare no punches, Sir Peter, I expect nothing less of you...

Pisces,
Pay heed to every word that Sir Peter has said. He's a very, very good astrologer - in fact - he's the BEST astrologer in the WHOLE world....I personally think he is Lilly reincarnated.... :D

You're very welcome, T. I take it from the above that you have given up asking futile horaries such as "Does X still wear his socks on the wrong feet on Tuesdays?" and moved on to more fruitful enquiries?
Why are yours and her primary significators in each other's 12th house, I wonder?

It wasn't that hard to spot - even for you, T ;)
Maybe Pisces can throw some light onto it?
Spare no punches, Sir Peter, I expect nothing less of you...
Gosh, expectations already! You're not related to Lady MacBeth, by any chance, are you?

T, I don't know what you're smoking, but I wouldn't mind half an ounce!
And if Lilly thought for one moment that he'd end up being me I'm sure he would have gone out and poked someone in the eye with his quill. Probably you ;)

I have yet to hear you mention anything about actually licking my boots - but I'm a patient man 8)

I still want to know if my ex regrets dumping me. Well, come to think of it, it's almost inconceivable that he would not --- but since I never get a "Yes" in ANY of my horaries, I think I'll just save that one for now....

If you don't mind my asking, but do you have an angular Neptune in your natal chart?

Either that or the asteroid Jameson is transiting over your Midheaven again!!!!

Very wise, I'd say. Have you ever thought of asking horaries that are just going to give you a "no" answer? You might as well play the percentages, right? :)
If you don't mind my asking, but do you have an angular Neptune in your natal chart?
No I don't mind you asking, and no I don't have an angular Neptune. I have an angular Saturn and Pluto.

As a matter of fact, asteroid 'Jameson' has been stationary over my Midheaven since Christmas. Natally I have it unaspected in my 5th house - right where it should be, so we can blame that;)

To be truthful, Ms. Sabena is happier than a butterfly in a flower shop. In fact, she bought me my last bottle of Jameson; duty-free ;)
Be well and safe, T...
