I knew a girl in Montenegro who went to see this lady - and she'd made her some kind of cakes, with berries that were available only in Montenegro.

She accidentally left the cakes in the car, and when she went in to see Baba Vanga, Baba Vanga thanked her so much for the cakes - said they were her favourite kind.

My friend was floored, needless to say.

Did I understand it right- she didn't bring the cake into the house but vanga still knew that they were made and intended for her?

There are many such stories- a famous singer goes to bulgaria only to see her and vanga tells her to come back on another date because the current day is wrong. The second date turns out to to be the day when that person dies or is burried. But I intentionally skipped such stories- you never know with them! :) Besides, they're of no use to Mundane Astrologers. but, yes, she was a very, very famous woman!
Well, the bottom line is- she probably did have some abilities; I am not qualiffied to enter a discussion on whether they might be supported by any astrological reading but I really would like to see her Natal chart and I'm trying to find it! Will let you know if I do!

Well, the explosion/fire at Chernobyl NPS released a lot of deadly radiactive dust over large parts of Europe - and we still eat it with the mushrooms from Poland or Austria......

This might sound like a logical explanation, but Alois had something entirely different in mind - the "dust death"(yellow powder, a kind of chemical weapon) he was talking about would, according to his prophecy, be used by the US forces to interrupt Russian lines of supply and to cut them off; this yellow dust would be released by thousands of unmanned drones in a line about 100 km wide, ranging from the North Sea all the way to the Black Sea. Anything that comes in touch with it, dies instantly - animals, humans, plants. Nobody can cross it without exposing himself to mortal danger. No soldier from the invading Russian/Arab army will come home anymore - according to him, that would be about 7 million men!

I thought it may be of interest to you.
Here's the link to the site containing this, and some other, similar prophecies http://www.newprophecy.net/warroom2.htm

Thanks for giving this additional information.
One ought to handle these predictions with utmost care.
Irlmaier's predictions certainly deserve special attention - especially when they bear a specific resemblance to other predictions.

The strange thing: They are partly somewhat "mythologically" inspired - e.g. Irlmaier mentions that there will be total darknes for three days and nights (while the "deadly dust" will be falling..). This prediction, however, is remarkably old- it can be traced back into the early 19th century (e.g. it is mentioned in the "Lindenlied", written around 1820). I do not think that the prediction of a three-day-darkness will materialize - it seems to me inspired by ancient mythological imagination.
I may be wrong there, I know..
On the other hand Irlmaier at times is remarkably precise in what he says - e.g. he says that something like a bomb will be thrown into the North Sea - the result being a catastrophe - total flooding. And he is rather precise when it comes to describing the deadly dust - he mentioned it very often. And he said he felt absolutely sure about it, adding that he was glad he didn't have to experience it himself.

All in all - I just do not really know. I just can't imagine a conflict between Russia and mid-Europe. Germany and Russsia are getting along well - for the time being (despite the horrors of World War II).
Rudolf Steiner, the founder of Anthropology, said that the USA and China would finally fight each other. This is what I can imagine indeed.

Hi, since I started this thread I must say that I'm a bit concerned about how this has developed into a discussion of world-famous war prophecies. That's not what I meant it to be. It is entirely on you folks how you want this thread to develop, of course, but I suggest we get back to astrology. In response to my initial concern about the Pluto/Saturn/nodes connections that are present in 2010, and how they could be connected to wars,
Goran said:
It is highly interesting that the WW III didn't break out in the 90's, when we had Saturn in Aquarius squaring the almighty Pluto in Scorpio(purported domicile!), isn't it?
Now Goran, I must remind you that the 1st half of th 90es (1990-1995)saw one of the moste terrible wars in the modern history, and that was the Yugoslavian war(s). It was not WWIII of course but it was a very cruel war.
Let me quote wikipedia here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yugoslav_wars#Bosnian_War: "The Yugoslav Wars were a series of violent conflicts fought in the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1991 and 2001. The wars were complex: they have been characterized by bitter ethnic conflicts among the peoples of the former Yugoslavia, mostly between Serbs (and to an extent, Montenegrins) on the one side and Croats, Bosniaks and Albanians (and to a lesser degree, Slovenes) on the other; but also between Bosniaks and Croats in Bosnia (in addition to a separate conflict fought between rival Bosniak factions in Bosnia); and Macedonians and Albanians in Macedonia. The wars ended in various stages, mostly resulting in full international recognition of new sovereign territories, but with massive economic disruption to the successor states.
Often described as Europe's deadliest conflicts since World War II, they have become infamous for the war crimes they involved, including mass ethnic cleansing.[1]" (from Wikipedia)

Please note "Europe's deadliest conflicts since WW II"! Let me just add that by far the toughest were those that escalated (and were carried out) in 1990-1995 (Croatian and Bosnian war). And, most importantly, there was the square from Saturn to Pluto in 1992 when those two deadliest wars broke out, and 3 exact squares were in force in 1993 when thousands and thousands innocent people died in Bosnia.

Now what about that, Goran? I find it hard to believe you don't remember those wars because they were carried out practically in front of your eyes. And mine, too, since I come from Slovenia which only experienced a 10day war but the rest we saw on tv etc., but I think you come from Serbia so that's your part of the world too. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

So much about that little planet Pluto which we can't even see by our naked eyes... :-?

Come on now! :x You were wanting something titillating and frightening. Here is how you started the thread:
Now I usually dismiss such predictions right away but I find it curious (and alarming) that the north node will be exactly conjunct Pluto in Capricorn in November 2010. World War II started during the month when there was an exact square od those two, and some nuclear disasters etc. are also linked to their "coupling". . . . I do wander what will be the grim result of the said conjunction in November 2010?
An ?alarming? conjunction, a comparison to the beginning of World II, and not just any result from the upcoming conjunction, but a ?grim result?. You set the tone, and that tone is one that I'm so sick of these days ? gloom and doom over upcoming worldwide disaster.

I had planned on staying out of the discussion until you started with your playing innocent. Face it, you got caught up in ? and did your part in spreading ? the prediction fever. I'm finding more and more that the quality of these astrology sites is rapidly sinking and my contempt for astrologers is rapidly growing.

Instead of looking to the future, why don't we focus on creating today for the good of all? In that respect I'm seeing many astrologers as close to useless.

Hahahaha  Can't believe my own eyes :) Kirk I'm sorry I have to say that but I'm afraid you're on the wrong forum altogether. This is an ASTROLOGY forum, see :sg I'm sure there're lots of forums on this net which'll suit your need to create something today for the good of all... And not look to the future, no no. Looking to the future is what astrologers do you know, surely you can avoid that, go on :brows

It doesn't always have to be the ultimate catastrophe.
So let's temporarily get more down to earth:

Irlmaier - more than 50 years ago:
"Amerika wird im Osten dauernd Kriege f?hren und nie mehr siegen."

"America will permanently fight wars in the east without being able to win."

This is a fact: Vietnam, Iraqu,Afghanistan ... and - fresh news ! - Jemen (Obama is said to be planning to bomb it - after all he has to prove that he's rightly been awarded the Nobel Prize!)

Of course you would come up with this, I was only waiting for you to mention it :D and of course I had these 'wars' in mind, how could I forget them? However, these wars didn't erupt into world war and that is decisive point, if we bear in mind your original hypothesis - and I certainly do. I've already asked for your opinion on this matter - two Pluto ingresses,in Cancer and Leo,allegedly causing two world wars...but the infamous, all mighty Saturn/Pluto square fails to do exactly what it was "made for"? Or the previous Pluto ingress into Libra, even its conjunction with Saturn? I don't want to repeat further what I've already stated...
I come from Croatia, actually, and I've witnessed the war in all its atrocity, yes, but that's altogether a different story, unfit for this astrological forum - I think we can agree on that.
So if you agree, I would like to return to the original topic concerning the role of Pluto in a war, especially a global one, fought, as it most certainly will be, with nuclear weapons. And it has also been stated that Pluto rules nuclear energy. Bearing this in mind, I suggest we examine the two charts I provided data for in order to explore if/how Pluto's decisive signature can be found in them. I know that these two charts are not enough to conduct serious, in-depth analysis, we should include Aries ingresses, conjunction(s) of the superiors, etc. as well.
What do you say?
Greetings,
Goran :D
