November Moon and North Sea Shake-up?

The Astro*Cartography chart for the New Moon on Nov. 16 puts Uranus on the South of the North Sea region. Considering that the New Moon occurs in the 25th degree of Scorpio and opposite Algol - this could indicate someone 'loosing their head' or potentially a Blow-out.

This does not have to happen, but there is more tension in the area - and the Norwegian coastline might be subject to an Earthquake in the Richter 5 category, which is not a frequent happening, yet it is something that has been known to occur. Scorpio is the sign traditionally associated with Norway.

With Uranus in the South in Pisces, energy is apt to seek new directions of escape and expression. Maybe the the period will pass unnoticed but the potential of the ball bouncing in an unexpected direction seems more likely at this time from an astrological point of view.

No seismic phenomena or disturbances reported to North Sea oil installations as yet. An extreme weather system is expected in over the Norwegian coastlines toward the end of the week, probably Friday, with rainmasses in excess of 100-120 mm being predicted.

Other freaky news: In Congo there is an ongoing trial where two young Norwegian men have been found guilty in murder, espionage, crime against the state. It has been claimed that the Norwegian state was responsible. The Norwegians have been sentenced to death and Congo has demanded an amount of money enough to buy Manhattan from the Norwegian government for their release. One of the young men has now recently suffered a nervous breakdown and apparently lost his mind.

The 19 year old Norwegian Grandmaster chess player Magnus Carlsen (born 30 Nov 1990), who won his first Grandmaster title at the age of 13 yrs old. Magnus is currently leading the World Championships in speed chess and challanges to take over as the World's no.1 ranked chess player.

20 Norwegians have lost their lives in the Swine Flu so far. This is the highest number among other Scandinavian/Nordic countries - and the figure is even higher if you think in terms of a population of no more than 5 million people.

This reminds me that such lunations often throw their effect out in time and sometimes 47-49 days (29,53 * 1,618), which leads to the first week of january 2010. So the lunation may still be monitored.

High radioactivity has been disclosed in old mines in Telemark, Norway, from a Top Secret project involving production of the rare metal niob that was used American Nuclear Weapons programme in the 50's and 60's. In the Solar Eclipse chart of 15 Janary 2010, the Mercury/Pluto alignment goes straight through the ascendant of Telemark. In the Astro*Cartography for the November Moon, Uranus (Uranium) is on the Meridian and lay directly over head.

Aftenposten: Here, provided Norway Americans the rare metal niobium, which was used in several top-secret U.S. nuclear weapons projects. The measurements show several sites with "very high" radioactive radiation doses due to uranium, thorium, lead and polonium.

A supplyship hit and damaged the rig 'Songa Dee' in the North Sea when it came adrift on Monday, 18 January 2010. Nobody was hurt, but the crew was supposively evacuated (contrary reports). The oil-rig is located about 150km West of Haugesund in an area boardering to the British sector. There were 100 people on board the rig and 14 people in the supplyship.
