ManU-Leeds 0-1 !!
Regarding radicality - the Sun, lord of hour, combusts the Lady of the ascendant. Jermaine Beckford, who scored for Leeds, is born 9 Dec 1988 - another Sagittarius. The same as in the Reading - Liverpool match?

What do you think, Ficina, should I add a report on the Match to the other thread?

I'll leave that for you to decide, Andrew :) Good point re combustion :'

Chelsea scored in the first 5 minutes of their game against Watford - exactly as Jupiter crossed the MC! So much for Watford holding them off - they're already 3-0 up. Oh well, I did say it was unlikely

The Mirror: Leeds were backed by a 9,000-strong travelling support but the odds were against the League One outfit registering the club's first Old Trafford victory since 1981. Source: The Mirror
I find this rather curious because I have had another thread running at the Sports section called The Battle of Oslo and Curse of the Royal Wedding where I pointed out another battle amoung rivals related to the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in 1981 at the time of the Royal Wedding. After 29 years Valerenga finally beat Lyn on 20 September 2009. Today on 3 Jan 2010 Leeds once again won over ManU at Old Trafford.

Well the QPR game was looking good until 15.49. I think we should petition for the scrapping of added time.

I was ok with QPR scoring first. I thought the Chelsea game may have got the early goal with Jupiter on the MC but was looking for a time nearer the planetary hour change around/after 20 minutes in the QPR game

I've not seen the QPR colours yet, but went for blue/jupiter although acknowledge that it may be mainly white. With the planetary hour changing to Jupiter for the 2nd half I didn't think Sheff U would score.

QPR scored at 15.40.

What happened between 15.40 and 15.49?
-Venus goes below the horizon: Venus and Saturn-the two strongest planets are now below the horizon with Mars?

- POF parallel Sirius??

-POF opposition moves from Mars to Moon, but not quite perfected???

Carling Cup 5 January
Blackburn - Aston Villa, 20.00 GMT
Odds: 2,65 3,20 2,55
Asc 27LE48 MC 15TA17 Moon 24VI44 POF 7TA11 POS 18SG20
Day Mars, Hour Sun - radical by sign
The Ascendant is in fire, its lord in Capricorn - Blackburn is the ascendant. The chart is radical and the Lord of the Hour/Asc is trine the MC, and Venus L10 applies to the body of the Sun, L1. Jupiter opposes the ascendant and the Moon is VOC in Virgo (Birmingham - going nowhere?). Villa are favourites by odds, but there is an argument that Blackburn keeps the ascendant. I might chance a 2-1 scoreline here at the odds of 9,5:1. But we still have time to discuss the pro's and con's of the chart. I am not confident. Villa is fav' and Jupiter is on the des.

Premiership
Stoke - Fulham,
19.45 GMT
Odds: 2,55 3,25 2,65
Asc 25LE06 MC 12TA54 Moon 24VI36 POF 4TA20
Day Mars, Hour Mars - shares same powers as asc. and lord, warm & dry
This chart is interesting because of the qualitative differences when compared with the above chart. Radicality is proven on different grounds. There could be a difference. Mercury is in exact trine the MC in this chart - but what does that mean? Mercury having no testimony in the chart could still fortify the MC and favourite, although the trine is a sinister through signs of short ascension - may this surprize? POF casts its antiscia to the asc, but is inconjunct Saturn, L7. Neptune is on the descendant instead of Jupiter. Mars, Lord of the Hour, rules the 4th. I'm puzzled but might favour a 1-1 draw. Odds: 6,25:1.

Total odds: 59:1

By the way, I feel inclined the include the Part of Spirit in the Cup charts - because the act of heroism on part of the underdogs seems to be more evident here.

On the assumption that the games go ahead tomorrow despite the weather predictions ( although I've had more success recently picking games that been postponed), the Blackburn/ Villa game earlier this season had the team colours of

Blackburn Blue/White and white shorts
Villa Claret/sky blue with sky blue shorts

So this is Jupiter v Mercury. At first glance its 0-0, unless there is a goal in injury time. I'll comment some more once I've looked at the chart again.

Last year Fulham played in yellow at Stoke. They don't have a yellow strip this year. As the first and second colours are white and red, the same as Stoke, I'm guessing they'll play in light blue.
So thats Mars v Venus? Not looked at the chart yet.

Blackburn/Villa
I think Sun L1 trine MC would do it for Blackburn if the game kicks off on time, but we've been caught out by this before. Half a minute late and the aspect is separating, in which case I'd go for a draw especially as Moon is VOC. It's difficult to see where the goals are coming from with Moon VOC and no planets crossing angles during the course of the game. Do the planetary hours give a clue, John? The hour changes from Mars to Sun at 8.07 (an early goal?) then to Venus at 9.30. Andrew, is there any particular reason why you've gone for 2-1?

Using the alternative method, I also checked the previous game colours and agree Jupiter for Blackburn and Mercury for Villa. Both planets below the horizon with nothing to say for themselves. Looks like a draw.

I haven't looked at the other game yet but I have Fulham's 3rd strip listed as dark blue which would be Saturn. I'll just go and check that.

I think Jupiter on the Descendant will give the guests a goal. We seem to have studied at a similar chart last season. By the way, I have Villa down as Sagittarius, Aries, Jupiter in my personal notes (with Virgo Birminham as a base and second reference), so I believe it is right to give them the descendant.

The battles between Blackburn and Villa have been rather close of late with the teams winning alternate games. Statistically, Villa are missing a 2-1 scoreline and it seems that this result is due in one of the upcoming matches. It will be an upset if Villa do get beaten by Blackburn, because they seem to do pretty well in some of these cup-tournements.

The Sun, L1, is trine the MC, but he also receives the application of Venus who is Lady of the 10th, so I think this might give Blackburn the upper hand and the extra goal. :?
