Well, don't worry too much cos it's only the first leg. Villa will be on their home turf for the second leg :)

I'm having difficulty with the other match. Mars (Stoke) above horizon and Saturn (Fulham) below would indicate a win for Stoke but I wonder if Saturn's essential dignities might even things up. It will be interesting to see how that plays out. This is of course assuming Fulham wear their third strip which definitely looks dark blue to me. Radicality favours Stoke, but then Jupiter crossing Desc might assist Fulham. I need to ponder this a little more I think :?

Success already; I predict a result and the game gets postponed. I'm making quite a habit of this.
Blackburn and Villa are not playing tonight.
I will not make a prediction for the Stoke game :P

The Stoke/Fulham game is going ahead. It might be safe to make a prediction now, John :P I realise I didn't actually make one and I'm still not totally sure. I'll go for Stoke to win :???:

Oh dear, I've just noticed the betting's changed. There doesn't appear to be a clear favourite now, so that messes up the radicality testimony.

Stoke are 3 up, so you look home and dry. Neptune on the Descendant probably has Fulham running round in circles. I want to take note over every little detail I can regarding the quality of radicality in the chart. I think I'll have to start a spreadsheet or something.

Stoke seem to have stoked up a good fire in the cold. We will never know whether Blackburn would have done the same. The is a mixed reception between Mars and the Sun.

Stoke - Fulham 3-2 :o
All the goals were scored on the same goal!
Congratulations, Ficina!

Gosh, that was close. I was beginning to think we would end up with 3 goals in each half!

This above/below the horizon thing seems to be working quite well. It doesn't work every time, but then no other method/technique can make that claim either. Still early days of course but I do like its simplicity.

BTW, Stoke scored their first goal exactly as Jupiter crossed the Desc!

Premiership, 6 January
Arsenal - Bolton, 19.45

Asc 26LE32 MC 14TA49 Moon 8LI33 POF 18TA41
Day Mercury, Hour Mercury - in same sign as Sun, L1.
On Sunday Leeds beat the favourites ManU where the Sun was Lord of the Hour and combust Venus, the Lady of the ascendant. Here it is opposite - the Lord of the ascendant, the Sun, combusts the Lord of the Hour, Mercury. This should not prove a negative for the ascendant, Arsenal. Venus, L10, is still closing in on the Sun, 10. Venus is combust, but the Sun has control. The infortune Mars at 17LE39 does hold the closest aspect to POF, which is by square. Maybe Bolton get the first goal, are awarded a penalty or something like that. This aspect could cause some disturbance and excitement. Mars squares the midheaven at 19.56 GMT. Unibet actually quote the price for Bolton scoring on a penalty as 12:1. :o

Presuming the game goes ahead, I agree Arsenal will win. Mars (red-Arsenal) above the horizon; Moon (white-Bolton) below.

We've seen the first goal scored as Jupiter crosses the Desc a couple of times now, but it doesn't always happen. Jupiter crosses about 5 minutes into the game. The odds for the first goal being scored in the first 10 minutes is 11/4 (3.75).

Fingers crossed the game goes ahead, weather permitting. Heaviest snowfall in London for three decades apparently!

I needed the hair-drier to thaw up the lock of my front door today before I could get out. With temperatures down to -25C I have shovelled the snow up against the outside walls, which is like packing the house in and provides extra insulation.

Do not attempt to kick a football that has lay outside in -25C all night! 8)
