I'm starting to get more involved with work again, so my contributions are likely to be infrequent.

I agree about the point that planetary hours and planets crossing angles shouldn't always mean goals being scored. It would be nice to have a few 1-0 scorelines on games being monitored for a change, to test this.

I thought that monitoring the 'real time' chart may show something of the quality of the moment. I've done this from time to time over the last month or so and the planetary hour change just seemed to stand out.

Rather than trying to keep pace with all the games, I'll try and pick a game a few days ahead and try and do it justice with some of my time and just log what stands out. If any of this supplements the main prediction chart of ascendant/descendant, then great. If not, then that is good also, as it will assist in eliminating possible theories ( or daft ideas that I might have!). If it helps the gambling addiction of when/if a goal will be scored, I'll take a commission

I'll join in with the Blackburn/Villa game (which is now bound to be called off- so put your money on that!!)

I wasn't going to bother with tonight's FA Cup games but since Coventry/Portsmouth is unexpectedly being shown on TV, I decided to check it out for practice. Like all the other games it kicked off at 7.45 and Coventry were 1-0 up at half-time. No idea of the odds but Portsmouth, being a Prem team, are probably faves even though they're away.

Coventry - light blue - Venus; Portsmouth - black - Saturn.
Both planets below horizon and in M/R - possibility of a draw. Saturn essentially dignified but virtually stationary. Venus with no essential dignity but still cazimi - which certainly didn't do ManC any harm last night! If cazimi trumps stationary, then it looks good for Coventry. We shall see if they can hold on.

I'm so glad you're doing this work. There could be specifics with the particular hours that we might discover later, like one goal only in the hour of the Sun, Venus for equalizers or to be balanced, Mars - assertive, Jupiter - plentyful, I don't know. The other day there was a goal just as the ascendant changed sign. It is the change of pace that is interesting.

Oh well, I suppose it was about time Portsmouth had a bit of luck. Regarding the draw result at the end of normal time, I should have kept it simple. Both planets below horizon = draw. I've checked the odds and Portsmouth were only marginal faves so the draw makes even more sense (unlike the previous ManC game where both planets were below horizon but ManC were very strong faves so cazimi Venus was enough for them to win).

Monitoring the real-time chart for goals is definitely interesting but I guess this is only worth doing for games with individual start times. There are enough of these to keep us busy though. Sorry to hear that work is getting in the way of pleasure, John.

Two replay matches in the FA Cup today between Liverpool - Reading and Newcastle - Plymouth at 19.45 GMT. There is no individual starting time but both the favourites are playing at home. The games are played on the Day and Hour of Mercury with Virgo on the ascendant, which makes the charts radical by both rulership and exaltation. I do not think this gives the underdogs much chance and don't think there will be a repeat of what we saw last weekend.

Both games start at the same time so I'd be a bit careful, but with Jupiter L7 on 29 degrees it looks like the end of the road for the away underdogs. If so, I shall feel very sorry for the Plymouth fans making the 800 mile round trip to Newcastle!

A little hindsight, using the alternative method. I checked the colors: Liverpool -> red, Reading -> blue-white stripes. So, Mars vs Mercury. Mars, above the line and "stays". Mercury, below the line and "stays". Home fave Pool should have won according to this. My idea: day Mercury, hour Mercury - Reading as Mercury. Does it make sense? Maybe it helped Reading!?

Taurian - Yes, Reading is associated with Virgo. Thus, they were exalted in the chart. These thoughts were on my very mind when I woke up this morning. And you beat me to it!

I also think that the Reading's Gylfi Sigurdsson from Iceland, born 9.09.1989 and another Virgo, was fighting for his home country in terms of the trouble they are going through there. Reading actually have 4 players from Iceland in the squad and at least 3 of them were on the pitch.

Great minds think alike. Just joking. Anyway, your statement of "Reading is associated with Virgo", is it based on colors? I guess it's not. Is it your experience that this team is somewhat successful when Mercury is "happy"?

Back to the colors, Newcastle with their zebra outfit, they look good for Mercury too, and yesterday they won 3:0 - I didn't expect them to be such comfortable winners. Actually I expected that from Pool - luckily, no bet.

We saw this day Mercury / hour Mercury stuff during the Confederations Cup last year, when the USA beat Spain 2:0, causing a huge upset. The theory was, USA -> Gemini -> Mercury. Mercury was in Gemini back then.
