Jupiter teams continue to win. Chelsea of course and also Wigan who were away underdogs.

Hull were wearing their blue away strip. It's a mid-blue colour and I couldn't decide between Venus and Jupiter. Given the draw result, Jupiter makes more sense since both it and Moon (Spurs) were above horizon throughout the game, whereas Venus crossed over during 2nd half.

Part of Triumph had just perfected its opposition to Mars (red teams) and begun to separate when the ManU and Sunderland goals were scored. I was pleased Burnley managed to hold on for as long as they did but they still ended up losing 3-0.

So one out of the four games failed to fit the system. 75% is still good going.

Not had much opportunity to look at todays games. I make some comments beneath but not sure if I'm coming to any conclusions.

Villa game. Mercury v Saturn.
At first glance is the kick off chart not radical? The planetary hour changes twice, and when it does the chart is not radical each time? I'm not sure what else there is to say that there should be a winning result, other than mercury being above the horizon. That said, saturn is in a much stronger condition.

Blackburn game. Jupiter v Mars.
The chart is radical? Circumstances for a winning result! Jupiter above the horizon, mars beneath. First goal-Mars and POF almost conjunct, mentioned this yesterday.
MC and Mars are the same degree!!
Second goal-sunset time again and jupiter planetary hour due- 4minutes off!

Bolton Game. Moon v Mars. Moon above and mars beneath the horizon.
First goal MC change to Aries, Venus just below the horizon. (There has been comment that white should be Venus?) Ascendant also due to change.
Second goal-Planetary hour 3 minutes off changing to Mars. Mars also close to the ascendant.

Is there a pattern starting to appear!!!!????

Interesting observations re Mars and goal-scoring, John.

I was out yesterday so didn't look at any of the games beforehand. The only surprise result was Villa/West Ham (ko 1.30pm) which ended 0-0, so I'll make a couple of comments on that one.

Villa were odds-on home favourites. The chart was radical by triplicity which often indicates a draw. On the other hand, when hour-ruler and Asc-ruler are in the same sign, this is usually an advantage for the faves. These two alternatives can be borne in mind when looking at other testimonies.

Using the above/below method, I would probably have given the game to Villa - and got it wrong! Using the Asc/Desc method, Jupiter L7 was conjunct Part of Success. Achieving a draw away at Villa can definitely be viewed as a kind of success for the underdogs, West Ham.

Another example to note re Mars and goals in the ManC/ManU semi-final on Tuesday evening (ko 8.05pm). The game started with Mars as hour-ruler and the first goal was scored by ManU (red-Mars) at 8.21pm, just as the hour changed!

Yes, 6:4 and Arsenal-Bolton ended 4:2, the total number of goals above average, again. These games began at around 19:45, actually a bit later. And around 20:00, Liverpool-Tottenham began, which later ended 2:0. I'm wondering, can the total number of goals be predicted? Not the exact number, but approximately... Well, these charts (Villa, Arsenal, Liverpool) are quite identical. The k.o. time of the Pool game is unique. Still, few goals there, and "goals galore" in Birmingham and London. Why is that?

There is one difference though. L1-Mercury (using the traditional approach) - opposite - POFnight (which equals POSday). Villa, Arsenal -> this aspect is applying. Liverpool -> this aspect is separating. Villa, Arsenal -> the away teams had a 2:0 lead in both cases.

L1-Mercury wasn't only opposite POFnight, but it had a sextile from POFday. As both home faves have finally won, using the POFday probably makes much more sense here.

I've thought about the number of goals in a game question, which lead me on to what is happening when a goal is scored. If some pattern can be seen on the quality of the moment when goals are scored, it may develop on to how many goals?

The great problem as I can see when it comes to goals is that some configuration/aspect in some match "produce" goal but in other match that same configuration/aspect does not. Look for example in these 2 charts, positions of planets in all house are same in botrh charts, only mC degree are different, but in Arsenal chart that was the moment when goal is scored, but in Liverpool chart there was no goal! Why?

The testing being done presently, if I am allowed to assume the position of the other contributors to this forum, is that the colour mix of the teams will produce different results.

That is , with the Liverpool game Mars v Moon
and with the Arsenal game Mars v Saturn.

Whether certain teams/ or team colours should have a specific planetary significator is a separate issue. It is the different colours of the teams and the slight changes in location that would alter scores and results.

I've just checked to see what was going on when the Arsenal goal that Goca mentioned was scored at 9.11pm. Part of Death was conjunct Saturn and Part of Conquest was applying opposite Saturn. As John has pointed out, Bolton (black) were signified by Saturn. This was Arsenal's 3rd goal and it put them ahead, 3-2. No way back for Bolton; Arsenal went on to win 4-2.

While I was checking times of goals I noticed that both Blackburn and Bolton scored at exactly the same time, 7.55pm. Those were the first goals scored in each game. The Moon had just perfected its sextile to the Sun.

Bolton scored their 2nd goal just as the hour changed from Mercury to Moon. When the hour changed at the Villa game, Blackburn conceded a penalty and had a player sent off. This was considered to be the turning point in the game - Villa equalised and Blackburn were down to 10 men for the remainder of the game.

Day Saturn, Hour Mercury - not radical
Tottenham har huge favourites by odds. The obvious argument for the home team and favourite is Mars, L10, on the ascendant. Mars must be a terrific significator for 'Spurs'. The issue of excitement here is that the chart is not radical, which is one testimony that can topple an obvious result and move the result away from expectancy. The Moon is approaching the Part of Spirit (of the heros) in the 10th, but the orb is wide. Saturn, L7, is exalted in Libra, the natural sign of Leeds. Saturn is cadent but received the trine of the Sun. Spurs are sharply accentuated, but there is still excitement.

I thought perhaps we could check out goal-scoring in this game since it has an individual start time. MC changes sign at 5.41pm and hour changes to Moon at 5.45pm. I'm wondering if the first goal might be scored around this time - between 21-30 mins is priced at 5.50; 31-40 mins at 7.00. Are there any indications for a goal earlier in the game?

Jupiter is often involved in one way or another in high-scoring games. I don't usually consider minor aspects but Moon was very close semi-sextile Jupiter in the 7.45 charts. In fact it was exact when the Arsenal game kicked off a little late at 7.49pm. Obviously it was separating by the time the Liverpool game started.
