Not really, but there aren't enough examples so far. It's not too frequent that there's a horse that is fave and by various associations it's supported by the day/hour (which are the same o/c).

Question: which planet would you associate a horse named Supreme Duke with? Mars, the Sun, or...? This was one horse which performed poorly as a 2nd fave on a Mars / Mars race, I associated it with Mars, but I'm not so sure now that I did the right association.

Thx! This horse is going to run again today, 16:40 Southwell, but not at all a fave, should be 5th from 6 according to the odds. Actually Sun is close to the DSC but not that close. I used the Coley method earlier today and it "told" me that PC wouldn't be 1st and wouldn't be last. This sounds believable indeed. We will see!

Supreme could be jupiter? Or even saturn in it's exultation? Or any planet in exultation..or rulership???

ok, Rex Bills says "supremacy" is sun and jupiter, and Dukes and Duchesses are jupiter also.. so I guess it was jupiter : )

The colors were 90% red and 10% white. That suggested Mars to me as well, but I think the name is more important. And it makes more sense this way - with the day / hour being Mars / Mars, that poor performance was not of a horse supported by Mars but by Jupiter.

I decided to note down the female horses running in the Venus hour races today (Venus day) and also have a look at Arabic parts (the usual suspects - Success, Conquest etc).

The 1.15 at Southwell was particularly interesting. Of the 10 runners, 3 were female - Tomintoul Star, Positivity and Granakey. Nothing 'Venus-in-Pisces' about any of those names but I also noted Part of Success conjunct Sun (in Aquarius) - Positivity? I wish I'd put my money on it because it won at 7/1. Tomintoul Star was 2nd at 12/1. Granakey, the favourite(!) was unplaced.

In the two other Venus hour races the females came nowhere but they were mostly big-priced outsiders anyway. I was rather disappointed that Singingintherain did nothing - sounded just right for Venus in Pisces. As Taurean said, there probably needs to be another testimony along with the day/hour ruler, so I shall continue to keep an eye on those Arabic parts.

I really like the way different methods are being explored on this thread and am slowly loosing my blinkered affiliation to the Addey method!

On Wednesday, 10 Feb 2 favourites won on the trot at Lingfield, 1325 & 1355, with moon angular. The symbolism was there is the first race for 1s 2nd and 3rd if you study the chart intently and creatively. But in the 2nd I couldn't find anything!

Sounds good and it has some yellow (Sun) in its colours.

Mars sextile Saturn this afternoon and in the 2.50 race at Catterick, Mars is conjunct Asc. Aggravation, Lightening Rod and Don't Rush It could all fit the bill here. Jupiter is hour-ruler and it will be interesting to see if it offers any advantage to the 'blue' horses, Aggravation (royal blue) or Lightening Rod (dark blue).

4.20 at Catterick - Double Vodka? Moon (and other stuff) in Pisces; Sun although separating from Neptune is still partile. Yesterday when it was applying, Brandy And Pep came 2nd at 28/1, having opened at 66/1!

MarsRx/saturn.. Don't Rush It. I think campanus 5th was applying to mars also. 2nd at 16/1.

So I ran a profit chart.

You can see I've been looking at this chart for an hour!

5:13 sag rises. Exulted L8 applies L1 in rulership. An aspect! And a well received one from dignified planets.. and the strongest planets in the chart are L1, L2, L8 and POF.
(L7 separates from L2, the bookie leaves my money alone?)

So what have I missed? Thanks for all input.
