With Venus in Libra on the Ascendant trine to Jupiter, I think we are dealing with a very good looking person. Sextile to Mars and gives the person some energy to actively make use of the handsomeness, although I can't tell in what field? Acting, politics?

Sun in (wide) conjunction with Saturn gives the person a melancholic nature.

Hello,

If we follow the dispositor trail from the Midheaven, we come to Moon in Libra, which leads us to Venus in Libra at the Ascendant, which squares the Midheaven.

With Moon and Venus in Libra cradling the Ascendant, I would expect a "softening" of the personality. Upbringing very important. Too much feminine influence? Mother complex?

Venus (positively) makes only the tight sextile to Mars. Arch opinionation would be expected. They have their own unique thoughts to express. They have their own thoughts, but they stem from an emotional source. (They think that they think what they think, but really they think what they feel.)

Difficulty dealing with the public...probably opting for mental, communicative "connection". Saturn connection to Mars at the 3rd, probably insecure about what they know or think and likely to overcompensate.

I see someone deeply emotionally troubled, but playing that all out through an intensely intellectual (likely opinionated) approach.

Difficulty with dealing with the public, added with the 12th House Mercury, probably a solitary sort.

Really not sure at all, but will guess a poet or something like that...

I am more of a "modern", so it would have been nice to have the outer planets to fill in some very large "blanks." Still, it's fun to take a stab at it. It will be interesting to get the "full" chart and see what the "outers" might have filled out for me. [Yes, I do understand this is the traditional section, ie. WHY the outers were not included]

Thanks for the learning opportunity!

Peace

Hi all,
What I find interesting here, is that strong Venus, as Eddy pointed out. Venus is ruling the 8th house, suggesting that death or 8th house matters played an important role in his life? In this daychart the mother is signified by Venus, strongly connected to the ascendant and with the ruler of the 10th in the first, again we get a strong mother/figure statement here. Mercury is also interesting, it is at the bendings, and I learned from Brady, that planets at the bendings could play an important role in profession. With Mercury in rulership, ruling the 9th and 12th house, a Mercurial profession maybe? Seems to point to a Mercurial/ artistic profession with that Venus also on the ascendant. With Mercury in the 12th she/he could be a person with a strong imagination. But the 12th rules hospitals as well, some health problems?

When I read Tienka's post (VIII-death, XII-hospitals) I was reminded of having read about Florence Nightingale who would have been 190 today. She died in 1910, 2010 is Florence Nightingale year.

I'm not sure about the Mercury emphasis, I don't look so much at Lunar Node related issues. MC in Cancer and Moon in Ascendant MC is sextile to Mercury but I think the MC square to Venus Moon conjunction is stronger. With the Ascendant planets I think of a gentle caring person like a doctor.

Mercury in XII could significate the hospital issue, but rather than own health I'd rather think of VI being health but as XII is the VIIth house as seen from the VIth it might be indicate the health of the partner or the 'other'. XII is also solitude but I think to see this in the Sun-Saturn conjunction in XI - friends but not so many because of these planets, a bit distant.

Maybe a bit different from my first impression in my first post but I still think of a good looking person beloved by many. Could this be a doctor in a third world country? Sort of 'angel' to the poor.

Like Atlantean I feel tempted to use the three modern planets, but I try to refrain from using them, and mainly in transits not in the natal chart. However since the years around 1890 is the period of the Neptune-Pluto conjunction, I'd like to say that I read that some world leaders or famous persons were born in that period like Gandhi and a spiritual leader whose name I forgot, but also infamous ones like Hitler as the other extreme.

Perhaps I better leave it for this for a moment. I might delve into speculation if I go further.

Hi Gabe
I like the idea of including whole sign and quadrant charts. Ok, so here we go again. I would also have liked to know the gender but I?m going to make an offering today before I disappear from the forum for a few days.

Firstly, parental influences: the father is signified by Saturn, 4th ruler (and partly by the Sun in a diurnal chart); the mother by the Moon, 10th-ruler, (and Venus in a diurnal chart). Venus is in dignity and sitting on the ascendant and the Moon is in the 1st applying to a sextile of the Sun - so the mother was both a powerful, and positive, influence. The father is signified by that applying Sun-Saturn conjunction, in which Saturn is peregrine and setting under the Sun?s beams, so there was fear and weakness connected to the father, or a sense of loss or abandonment. In any case, not such a healthy relationship because Saturn?s last aspect was the recent square from Mars and the next is combustion. So a dislike of the father or conflict from that direction. On the other hand Jupiter is in the 4th house which suggests that there were areas of definite support from parental or ancestral influences, possibly a benefit from a family inheritance.

Mars also rules the 7th house and the 2nd house, so this person has difficult relationships, money troubles and arguments over these issues. No marriage, or rather not a successful marriage (an unhappy marriage is more likely than no marriage). Added to the fact that 5th-ruler is Saturn, under Sun's beams, probably no children either. Mars in 3rd might point to periods of significant lawsuits or writs. The planetary emphasis is on the east so this person seems quite insular and self-centred, and with the Sun applying next to Saturn, a sense of reserve, chill or seriousness. Even so, obviously friendly and charming in a ?civilised way? because of the influence of Venus. Quietly spoken I think.

I was going to give some physical description but really need gender and race for that. The predominance of Venus and the Moon suggests delicacy and heightens femininity helping to describe a phlegmatic type. Venus is the only planet that is really strong by angularity, but I agree with Tienka that its rulership over the 8th house (and Moon in 1st) takes away from a sense of strong vitality. On the other hand, the Leo Sun is conjunct Regulus and applying to Saturn so this is a person of fixed belief and strong personal conviction. Not a pushover for all the charm.

With 10th-ruler in 1st career is obviously important. It seems to be artistic, womanly (people-centred) or caring, but there are no obvious indications of significant fame that I can find. If the vocation is found by the planet that has most recently arisen then this would be Mercury, strong in essential dignity and sq the nodes but hidden in the 12th. So a great thinker who might feel uncomfortable putting things out into the open, or drawn to areas of the occult. Definitely an artist, working through the mental/emotional, rather than the physical. But I don?t see ?celebrity? and the contact of 2nd-ruler Mars to SN and sq Saturn doesn?t shout wealth either. So probably something serious, studious or medical.
I?ll leave it at that with the addition that this seems like a soft, caring person, but not an especially dramatic or charismatic one. Doesn?t look like a murderer either.

Deb

PS ? now that I?ve said that, ah.., 8th-ruler on the ascendant ? (OK, .. *if* a murderer then it?s a poisoner or a crafty murderer; this person is not a ?thug?).

man or woman?
Male, and of an English ancestry, to also answer Deb's request.

As for using the outer planets, though this is the Trad forum, I wouldn't be totally against it, just don't go crazy with various Transplutos or Nibiru or anything like that. :) You can probably get their placement from the birth data in the initial post.

I note two contra-antiscion aspects with similar orbs: Saturn with Moon, orb 1:54; and Mercury with Venus, orb 1:53. The similar orb suggests to me that these two aspects connect, and this in turn hints at the individual's strong need to communicate as a way of relieving an otherwise severely depressive situation into which he or she is placed. Is this a gloom and doom poet?

Temperament - very sanguine. This is not a reserved person. Venus as the ruler of the ASC in the ASC makes him charming, and probably popular.

Lord of Manners is again Venus, in the ASC. He is a very venusian person. He may enter a venusian profession or not, but anyway he is going to he will use of diplomacy, sweet talking, search for harmony, conciliation, etc (e.g., Bill Clinton). Interest in venusian things. Venus and moon in the east angle may make him too much fragile or prone to not like to have his hands dirty.

Venus with mars partile makes at least one marriage or important relationship. Without the gender of mystery chart?s owner, I can?t analyse his relationships in any depth, as delineation is gender specific. A marriage would be likely in the firdaria of any of the planets. The first firdaria to look for would be in 1906, although he was very young yet.

Friends in high places, and possibility of inheritances, real estate, etc (ruler of fortune in the 4th house). Also difficulties with money showed by mars in a fire sign conj the south node.

I don?t have a clear view of the father. Maybe he died on an early age, or he was raised only by his mother, or by foster parents, something like that.

About he being connected with death: I don?t see many reasonings for that, as any person with asc in Libra and venus in libra will probably have the 8th house in taurus. His spirituality has his dark side (locked in the 12th) but nothing that couldn?t be worse.

Well, here Venus seems to be very strong; it's the almuten of the chart and lord of geniture.

Temperament melancholic/phlegmatic I would say.

If married (Sun and Moon are in sextile) not very interested in it.

Of same fame, there is doryphory of the Moon in the angle, and Saturn protects the Sun.

Mercury should be invisible (arcus visionis is smaller than its limit), so I believe not a man of action, a student, a writer? But with some touch of Venus, which is angular.

About the qualities of the soul, on the Moon prevails Saturn, on Mercury Mercury, and both are kept together by Venus. But if we add the Ascendant variant, Saturn prevails, always with Venus.

Saturn and Venus are key factors for me. Saturn is not fantastic here, invisible from the western side, the worst position, on the other hand Venus is very good, vespertine, on her sign, at the angle.

Let's say like that:
Conciliated with Venus, and being again in glory, Saturn makes men averse to women, and renders them fond of governing, prone to solitude, highly reserved, regardless of rank, indifferent to beauty, envious, austere, unsociable, singular in opinion, addicted to divination and to religious services and mysteries; solicitous of the priesthood, fanatical, and subservient to religion;

but I'm not really sure, I have the idea there should be some dark side of Saturn here.

Then there is the square between Saturn and Mars, and let's say that Saturn mitigates Mars, at least I hope so,

this is my try for the moment.

I follow Yuzuru with the sanguin temperament; Venus as LoG and Sign. of manners, on the ascendant, shows a life-motiv: the arts, women, luxury, diplomacy.
Sun is smack on Regulus: either someone who rose to high rank, or has circulated amongst the mighty and wealthy (11th). Succes might not have been lasting. (V. Robson, p196 as quoted on constellation of words-site)
Which is also suggested by Venus on Vindemiatrix: trouble and loss through friends/women, danger of scandals. (V. Robson, p215, dito)
But Moon on Spica gave help: succes and wealth through Mercury-, Venus- and Jupiter-people (dito). So protection from scandals etc?
Antares is on the PoF, which gives poverty... (dito).

I 'm inclined to take the narrow conjunction of Moon and Uranus into consideration: erratic behaviour, impredictable and unstable emotions. Moon rules the MC: honours and preferment not lasting or even detrimental...

So I see someone who is very very sociable and attractive, probably good-looking, but a danger unto himself because of some excentricity
:brows
He may have risen high thanks to personal successes or due to social networks, but that would prove to be ephemeral...

Hmmm.... Looking forward to disclosure, lol.
