News on Steven Birchfield -our hopes for his full recovery 1 by Deb Members of this forum have a great deal of respect and affection for Steven Birchfield, so I am sorry to have to report some very unhappy news. On Sunday May 16th Steven had a serious heart attack and had to be taken to the intensive heart ward at the University of Oslo Hospital. There are blockages in three main arteries, so although his condition is currently stabilised with medicine, Steven will have to go back into hospital in three weeks time for what looks like being a triple bypass operation. It is a testimony to Steven?s thoughtfulness that despite all this, he wrote to apologise for not following up his promise to walk through the techniques he used for this successful prediction concerning the UK election and the new ascension to power. He may, if he finds time, continue the notes he had started, but obviously his heart condition means that he is currently suffering a lot of fatigue, and so we shouldn?t expect more contributions from him under these circumstances. Steven knows that I am making this announcement and regrets that he hasn?t been able to keep as many people personally informed as he would have liked to have done. It is obviously the case that although he will greatly appreciate messages of support, he will not be able to respond or thank people for the well wishes. I?m sure that everyone will feel like I do in wanting to let Steven know how much we share his concerns and wish him a full recovery. I?ll be praying for your good health Steven. We will all miss your contributions here because your wisdom and insight is so precious and appreciated, but for now the only thing that matters is that you rest and heal, and allow others to take very good care of your very good self! Sending my own sincere thanks, appreciation, respect and affection, Hang in there! Deb Quote Tue May 25, 2010 8:36 am

Message to Steven 4 by Steve I also was looking forward to Steven?s further explanation for his prediction of the British election. I wish Steven a speedy & healthy recovery. Regards, Steve With all our modern knowledge and scientific equipment, and with the the great strides made in mathematics, we astrologers have done nothing to even remotely compare with the achievements of the astrologers of antiquity. 5 by Estebon_Duarte Mr. Birchfield is at the forefront of Traditional Astrological Practice and his work has been an inspiration to myself as a young professional astrologer and I hope to have him back for our enlightenment. Both here and on our Mundane Astrological discussion group, where I have printed numerous pages of his notes, I have enjoyed pouring over his posts for bits of technique and those ever elusive Abu Mashar quotes he gave us from translations I have yet to be able to afford. 11 by Mark Like so many people here I wish Steven a thorough and complete recovery following his upcoming surgery. Steven's deeply knowledgeable and insightful comments here are greatly appreciated. In the circumstances its deeply touching Steven is still thinking about sharing his traditional technique with Skyscript members. However, considering his current state of health I do hope Steven is saving all his reserves of energy for himself and his recovery just now.
