At least 116 people have been killed in a fire that engulfed one of the most crowded neighbourhoods of Dhaka last night following an apparent electrical explosion. The the fire brigade described the blaze as the worst in the capital of Bangladesh since 1971.

It started at around 10.30 pm local time when an electrical transformer exploded soon after a rainstorm, setting fire to a shop storing flammable chemicals, according to local police.

With the area plunged into darkness, the flames quickly spread to at least six apartment buildings and about 15 stores, some of which were packed with old newspapers sold for scrap. Other buildings had been turned into chemical factories despite a law banning their presence in residential areas.

The chart has several configurations. This includes a separating Moon-Neptune conjunction opposed by an angular Mars (MC ruler) in the 7th house. Its interesting before the electrical fire broke out there had been heavy rainfall. Might this be reflected in the Moon-Neptune conjunction in the 1st house? The Moon is separating from the opposition to Mars and in an applying square to the Sun across the sign boundary.

Saturn (ASC ruler) is direct again and applying to an opposition of Uranus. Uranus has ingressed into the first degree of Aries. Saturn is also in antiscion to Uranus. Jupiter is conjuct Uranus. By zodiacal projection the fixed star Unukhalkai is on the MC. Situated on the neck of the Serpent it is often referred to as Cor Serpentis, the Serpent's Heart (a snake's heart is located in its neck). According to Ptolemy it is of the nature of Saturn and Mars. Robson states ' It gives immorality, accidents, violence and danger of poison'.
