Sorry if this is butting in on the individual matches but here is the opening ceremony chart in placidus for events.. Ficina, would you progress 10th cusp? In which case sun in gemini in 9th.. although it did hit antiscia of NN and POF on the way.. If not how would you read that chart? Thanks. Also what would be your view on the chart for the concert the night before.. was that "really" the start?

When I originally looked at this chart (quite a while ago now), the only thing that stood out for me was Mercury, being the final dispositor, in Gemini so I was thinking about a country that has two official languages. I did manage to find one but I don't remember now which one it was - only that it was very unlikely to win! Probably an African country. I still had that idea in mind when I looked at the chart for the final and suggested the finalists might share a common language.

Although the concert the night before was described as an opening ceremony, it didn't really seem very appropriate to me as an opener to a football tournament. You never know though, there might be something in it.

It was founded Jan 27/28 1900 in Leipzig. The start of the congress was - due to its programme - on Jan 2th at 19:45 Central European time. However,
as far as I can see the association was founded not until the following day.The delegates started their discussions at 8:30 that day. I have so far not been able to deal with that matter in detail..

Leipzig and soccer ? these two go together. And have done for more than 100 years ? since 27th January 2000, a limestone plaque in Leipzig's Karlstrasse 10, today's B?ttnerstasse, hints to the fact. The plaque was placed on the building of Friedrich Hofmeister Verlag since it was the location of the restaurant ''Zum Mariengarten''. In this restaurant, on 28th January 1900 the Erste Allgemeine Deutsche Fussballtag held the inaugural meeting of the German Soccer Federation DFB. Theoder Sch?ffler, Johannes Kirmse and Oskar B?ttner were among the most notable football enthusiasts from Leipzig, who were decisive in preparing the foundation. Dear Goca, Italy- Paraguay Match Drawn. Hard luck but you have indicated a very tight match. Today's Brazil V Korea DPR Match is also interesting. Korea's away Kit is white. So Korea will be DEC.
